This was our first time here and we were not disappointed. I had the three item meal and chose 1/2 turkey and Swiss sandwich, chicken tortilla soup and fruit. The sub roll was soft on the inside but had a little toasty crunch on the outside, just the way I like it. This meal was only $12.99 + $1.00 up charge for the fresh fruit, generously portioned and well worth the extra. It was more than I could eat so I brought it home. My husband had the supreme thin crust pizza and brought half of it home. He said it was really good and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that there’s not one closer to me because I would be a regular.

First time visiting a Newk’s. Perfect spot for lighter fare than most fast food options. Order at the register, get a number, they bring your food pretty fast since it is soup, salads, and sandwiches, and pizzas. Tired of fried food? This is the place.

Great location, food was excellent. Got the chicken tortilla soup and it was piping hot and delish flavor and a half chicken salad sandwich on toasted bread with some be ru good sweet tea. It was a bit chilly inside for me so I sat outside and it was a perfect temp with a nice view. Walked to Barnes & Noble for a coffee afterwards.

Absolute BEST customer service we’ve had in a long time. Delanna (hope we’re spelling that right) was amazing! She told us how the cute cups are to honor the owners wife who passed from ovarian cancer.
We got a meal deal for two pizzas and a large salad for $20! Enough food for lunch the next day. Highly recommend this place.

Ordered the pick two combo and chose Cesar salad (with chicken added), tomato bisque and a drink. Final bill was over $22 before tip….?!?! Good grief.. did I teleport to an airport or something because that seems outrageously overpriced for a soup and salad “special.”
As to the food, the salad was indeed delicious, the tomato bisque was rather meh the tea was on point.
The staff is very attentive, the food came out quickly and overall the atmosphere is above average casual but not too swanky. Whoever controls that AC though, yowza. I could’ve cut diamonds with my nips!
Not sure I could return with these kind of prices though. And trust me, I want to! Surprisingly difficult to find a good Cesar salad in this region, and Newk’s definitely delivered on that front. If I had any complaint about it, there was actually too much chicken! 🙂

How have I lived here a year and just now found Newks? This place is like Panera Bread but with fresh ingredients and bigger portions! Fresh sandwiches, soups and salads and reasonable prices. Just need to get em to add a broccoli cheese soup and I’ll be in heaven. Been here twice in two days, will be back even more. Yum!

Great place to eat! Went there on a quiet Sunday evening, and had a great meal. We really love their new side, potato salad. Had the Philly sandwich and others had the lobster bisque. Great dining room for a Newk’s. Will go again when in the area. Hours on door are open til 9:00, even if some Google info says 6:00 on Sundays.

Beautiful day to enjoy lunch outside at Newk’s! I think they have the best chicken salad sandwich on the Eastern Shore. Enjoyed this sandwich along with chips today! Save room for desserts as they are delicious too!!
