Our office has enjoyed Newfangled’s food since they opened and we eat it for lunch often. Today, however we ordered catering for the first time. It was wonderful, easy to order and everyone loved it! Their Pimento cheese dip is a fan favorite and highly recommend trying it. But, no matter what you order, you’ll be happy and satisfied!

For a sandwich, normally I hit Buck City Sammies or Scotty’s Deli or even the Brown Bag Deli. But New Fangled Kitchen kept popping up in my Google searches, so I decided to give them a shot. Very glad I did.
The sandwiches were very good. The chicken in the chicken salad sandwich needs a bit of seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic), and I’m used to the sauerkraut in the Ruben at Scotty’s deli being more vinegary. This was a nice change. And the fact that their rye is seedless meant I didn’t have to ask them to modify anything so I could try it the way they meant for it to be. Close to home, quick service (ordered online for pick-up). DEFINITELY recommend.

I had the Southern Melt, my wife got the Fang. Best meatloaf sandwich I’ve ever had and the price was definitely reasonable considering the serving!
Service was friendly and the atmosphere is local, cozy, and eccentric. Didn’t realize there wasn’t seating which was a bummer cuz I wanted to hang out. That said, this was a great find and I hope they keep on keeping on. It’s the kind of place you’ll be served by the owner and can buy local drinks, grab flyers from happenings that aren’t simply corporate b.s. Authentic.
My wife recommended this based on finding it via the Google reviews so had to keep it going. Great local find. Will be back.

Ordered a tuna sandwich and pecan salad, fellow diner got bologne. With 2 sodas this came out to around $50. Go to counter and order then either take away or eat outside – no indoor seating.
Order area has bigger bags of chips, merchandise, and very fun things like rhose magnetic wooly willy toys as well as a vending machine with vcr tapes, cds, and small toys (I got a tape – a blockbuster with geena davis and samuel l jackson).
Anyway the food – salad wasnt great. Dressing was very heavy on egg, lots of egg on the salad and cheese, and pecans are candies so everything is very thick and heavy.
My tuna melt was fantastic – love the red onion, mustard, and pickles. Rye was great. Recommend for those who line tuna sandwiches. Sometimes I fear tuna melts because often they are foul; greasy fishy piles of gross. This was not at all – fresh and not overcooked, not oily and hit the spot.
Fellow diner liked the bologne.
I got a strawberry habanero soda thst was very good and tried the prickly pear which was also great.

I had to come here to say, this is one of the best restaurants for fresh sandwiches/food in Columbus! I arrived close to closing time and like most restaurants in the city, you get the scraps and leftovers from the day. I was pleasantly surprised when I received my order, this was not the case. Everything was fresh and looked just like the pictures! I mean everything!
I was greeted with a smile and felt welcomed. I ordered two sandwiches, potato salad, and pretzels with pimento cheese. Meatloaf and deli style. The flavors in the meatloaf were so intense, the bun was even grilled! My deli sandwich consist of turkey, bacon, some other things I can’t remember, but it was just as delicious. The potato salad tastes as if they just made it, and the pretzel was soft and fresh; the pimento cheese spread, the best I have ever had! This place is 5+ stars!
I definitely will be back! Thank you for being fresh, real and authentic! Y’all ROCK!!!

A bit pricey but overall good sammich shop.I had the Chatty Kathy which was on marbled rye with chicken salad. The girls had a turkey clubbish sammich. Near Capital University with outdoor seating.

Decided to give this place a try. I got the big deal bologna sandwich. It’s 100% beef and delicious. It’s also a large portion size so no need for sides, but the potato salad is an excellent choice if you’re so inclined.

I finally tried this place on my roommates suggested, boy was it good!! I had The Fang and the coleslaw. Both were amazing. The meatloaf is spot on and it’s clear the coleslaw is homemade, and very creamy. Sooooo good! We had delivery so I can’t rate the service or atmosphere.
