Took a chance on a great spot I pass by on the way to work every day! Went with 3 friends and despite Google listing wait times at 45 minutes (9am on a Sunday), we were seated immediately. I had the biscuits and gravy, which I was weary about getting but couldn’t resist since it’s hard to find around here. It was GREAT! I didn’t care for them putting the side scrambled eggs on top of the biscuits, but it didn’t matter anymore once I moved them aside and tasted it. Good stuff. My friends all got various items which they enjoyed. The home fries were very good, not soggy like most places, and came in a reasonable serving (I just find that most restaurants give way too much home fries). The side scrambled eggs with cheese came topped with sliced American, which is always hit or miss for me but they pulled it off well here. Coffee was decent but a bit watered down for my taste. Serving sizes were good, quality over quantity – only one of us didn’t finish and he got the huge New England Breakfast, which he liked a lot. Ample parking. Service was excellent. We will absolutely be coming back.

The service was excellent. The place is old but tidy. The food was edible but nothing to ‘write home about’ or go back for. The items I asked about were either from a can, or from the freezer, etc. And I think that $5.25 for one blueberry pancake is a bit high priced, well unless of course it tasted great, which it didn’t. In short, if you’re looking for great service and a good bottomless cup of coffee, have a go.

Have been by here many years before but never ate here. Finally on a trip back up here stopped in to have breakfast. Food was good, especially the skillets and our waitress who was recently naturalized from Canada was super, made for the job. She gave great advice too. Only reason I gave some 4 stars was the noise level inside. Overall, would definitely return!

Service was good and atmosphere was nice. Food was the only thing that fell short. It really was too bad since everything else was good. I always try restaurants corn beef and hash skillet with scrambled eggs and home fries with a grilled English muffin. The food was good but the portions. The skillet itself was on the small side so it looked full but if your a hungry man out for breakfast….. You’ll need to order two. Don’t get me wrong. The food is good but I left wanting more. Literally.

The entire staff, including our waiter, was extremely kind and hilarious. Excellent food! Everything in the skillet breakfast I ordered was almost perfectly cooked. This is one destination that all members of the family will enjoy.

Service was fast but food quality sucks. Got stuffed French toast but it was two slice of bread with a thin layer of fill. $11 no sides. Ok. Got one chocolate chip pancake $3.85 ok, the maple syrup is all I can taste. But 2.85 for a cup of coffee. Won’t be back.

Quality has gone down since we first started coming here. Red flag when the food comes out five minutes after ordering. California Benedict features avocado and tomato, both were unripe and inedible. They took it off the bill because I didn’t eat it, but why serve it in the first place? Our server was very nice but this is not our go-to spot anymore.

Quaint, cozy spot with a wide variety of tasty, well-priced breakfast options. Ordered the basic skillet platter, pictured below, for around $13 (you can see the eggs benedict right across the table). Hit the spot! Food came very quickly and servers were kind and attentive.
