I actually regret not having tried this place sooner. Probably one of the best cheese steaks that I’ve ever had. Everything about it was great, even the bread. This is actually a real deli. I tried to macaroni salad just to see if it was as good as it looked and it was actually better than it looked, if that’s even possible. I also had the fresh cut fries, half a bag of them. Prices are so reasonable I really believe that two people could share the cheese steak special and still both be full, and I bet they would still be some left over. The value for the money is unbelievable. The food is delicious. Everyone is polite and friendly. What more can you ask for?
I’m going to have to make a few more visits and try some of their other specialties 🙂

Been driving by this place for 10 years. Stopped today and got a cheesesteak. Quite honestly, it was the best I’ve ever had. Better than anything down in Philly. The bread was fresh, the steak had no chewy fat. It was sublime. We also grabbed a bottle of their virgin olive oil. That was also just absolutely amazing. So much better than the oil you get at the local grocers. Will be making regular visits to Newburgh Deli. Thanks.

So we finally tried the famous cheesesteaks. Nothing to write home about. The rolls were very fresh, the sandwich was loaded with steak meat. Just was not a fan of the flavor or taste. Not to mention they screwed up our order a little, but that’s not the reason for review. We are big cheesesteak hunters for the best cheesesteaks. Not a place that we will go back to.

Good cheesesteak, meat had great flavor. Could be bigger, but was priced appropriately. No Cooper cheese was disappointing, the American was good but it’s not as good as Cooper. Roll was good, room for improvement, but overall a solid cheesesteak with little wait for the food. Hand cut fresh French fries were REALLY good! Would Def go back!

Somewhat disappointed. Everyone was very nice and prices are inline with others and the cheese steak I ordered was good. However I got it with mushrooms and sauce. I saw two mushrooms and had about a teaspoon of sauce. I actually thought they forgot the sauce when I opened my sandwich but when I got 3/4 bites in there was a very tiny amount of sauce at the bottom. Otherwise it was good. Just not happy with I didn’t really really get what I ordered. May seem small but the lack of sauce will keep me from returning.

For the area, there really isn’t anywhere else you can get food this good for how cheap it is. Great little lunch spot that’s very fast. They don’t have really anywhere to sit inside but when the weather is better they have a few outside picnic tables which are nice. Support local businesses, go here instead of all the chains in the area.

The best ruben i’ve ever had. good cheesesteaks and salads as well. i think some of the bad reviews on here from snobby people. the building and exterior aren’t communicating anything grand but it is great for what it is and for the price!

Staff is very kind and their subs are outrageously good.
One of my favorite things is grabbing an Italian sub and taking it to the park down the street on a nice day.
