We stopped for lunch on a Saturday and got to try their famous broccoli soup. It did not disappoint – it was perfectly seasoned and wonderful. We both had the special – sirloin steak and shrimp. The steak was perfect as was the shrimp. Amazing service. 11/10 would eat here again and again!!

We were staying at the Holiday Inn Fox River Resorts and we stumbled on this restaurant a few minutes down the road and we were pleasantly surprised.. we weren’t sure what to expect from a small town diner next to a gas station., but it turned out to be a really good choice for dinner.
Fantastic service provided by the waitress.. she was patient with our boys and my mother-in-law, kept our drinks full and even brought us a nice treat to take home.
Mainly good old fashioned American fare. I really enjoyed the fried Cod and fries, my son’s fried chicken sandwich was huge, and my other two picky boys lived the tenders, and we all loved the soups. My wife’s pot roast was just ok .
The restaurant was clean with a nice country theme and homey feel.
I really recommend this place for those families visiting Pirates Cay water park or Holiday Inn resort, it’s close, convenient, and very good.

My husband and I have been here once before and it was really good. Decided to come out for breakfast this morning and came back. We’re in sandwich but we made the drive! It was just a good as we remember! (My pic is anyway mostly eaten lol. Big portions! Honestly, we could have shared one meal)

I’m sorry, but it cost 51$ for 2 adults and one child, for less than flavorful food! My son got the fried chicken which just came with lettuce? We had to ask for tomatoe and mayonnaise for the side. Then I got the biscuit and gravy skillet which NOTHING had flavor other then the bacon which was WAY to much of. Cream of chicken soup was just okay, nothing special. My boyfriend got the chicken fried steak which this is not a true country kitchen and was not legit chicken friend steak. Weve been wanting to come here for some time but now we know we wont be back.

A wonderful small-town restaurant. Atmosphere is fun. Major variety of choices on menu. Food was really good & plentiful. Pictured is a skillet breakfast in foreground & french toast plate in background. Waitresses were very pleasant & service was top notch. Highly recommended & we can’t wait to go back & take a few more folks to join.

Great little small down spot. Biscuits and Gravy were good. I’ve also had the Biscuits and gravy skillet which was good but that visit was larger than I anticipated. Not a bad thing though. Would definitely come back again when going through this area.

Perfect small town diner. Excellent service and very good food. Highly recommend finding this place and enjoying a nice meal. The patti melt was perfect and the beef tractor roll was delicious.
