I had an everything bagel with cream cheese at Newark Deli and Bagels this morning, and it was delicious! The bagel was perfectly chewy and flavorful, and the cream cheese was smooth and creamy. The service was also very friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great bagel.

NDB is a staple for UD students and alumni, and for good reason. Everything I’ve ever ordered here has been delicious, and their bagel sandwiches can’t be beat. However, despite vegetarian breakfast meat alternatives being widely available and not terribly expensive, they still haven’t added any of those options to the menu. I love a good egg and cheese on an everything bagel, but it would be great to get one with Beyond or Impossible sausage every now and then, too.

Clueless. Couldn’t figure out how to get an order of 4 sandwichs together. Kept bringing me one sandwich at a time as each was done instead of getting entire order at one time. pastrami sandwich was trash non toasted rye bread.

Custom experience was terrible, I’m a sever and so is my girlfriend. We understand mistakes and would typically never write a review. My girlfriend has an egg allergy and I told them when I ordered, when I went home her bagel had egg on it, she called and very nicely explained to them the mix up. They said if we come back we can pick up another bagel (never mentioned we have to bring the bagel back). She lives right down the street so I walked back. When I came for pick up they said I needed the old bagel, I told them I threw it out because we couldn’t eat it and they replied “how do I know you didn’t eat it”. So I called my girlfriend and she brought the bagel from the trash to the store. They finally she exchanged the bagel after 3 trips back to the store. The counter girl who took our order was very nice and apologetic, but the manger (at least who I think is) was extremely rude, unprofessional, and unapologetic about her order and not exchanging it after they messed u and not to mention an allergy issue that we told from the start.

Absolutely horrible experience today, made my bagel with wrong cream cheese twice and I didn’t notice second time until I got home. Forgot to make my fries. Ended up waiting 45 minutes for all my food just for bagel to be wrong and I spent so much money to extend parking from what I thought would be 5-10 minutes in and out. Staff weren’t apologetic. This isn’t usual of them but was bad enough for me to write a review

This little bagel shop is fantastic and very accommodating for special catering orders! Not only are the bagels delicious, but the owner is very very sweet. We requested them to make us custom rainbow bagels in the colors of the Maryland flag (red, white, black, and yellow) and they have made them absolutely perfectly! We ordered them for a special event and they make a perfect addition to any gathering!

NDB is a great place to get that bagel that you’ve been craving. Their bagel with cream cheese and lox is fairly reasonably priced and jam packed with flavor. and it comes with a pickle! Their wraps come with fries and are decently sized for a lunch meal. Fair prices and excellent customer service! Love going here with a friend or two for some late breakfast on a Sunday.

The bagels are always pretty good but the employees act like they have no clue what they’re doing… They don’t ask if its for here or to go, they just throw your order on the table and most of the time they dont wrap or package your sandwich correctly so it’ll tend to fall out sometimes. The line is always really short but it takes them twice as long as it should to get through the line. Not sure what’s up with this place in that regard… Everyone always seems hungover in there.

You can get a pretty darn good breakfast sandwich here but the prices are a little steep and the wait for your food can be excruciatingly long. Certainly the best I’ve had near the University of Delaware campus.
