The pizza delivers exactly what you want from a New York–style place: a solid crust, generous toppings and the right balance of sauce and cheese. The photo I posted says it all, loaded with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms, baked evenly, served hot and no skimping anywhere. No soggy middle and the crust holds up slice after slice.
Service was friendly and efficient and the overall vibe matched the food, straightforward and done right. If you’re in Irving and want pizza that actually feels and tastes like a New York pizza restaurant, this place is worth the stop.
But what really sets this place apart is the customer service. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to have you there. You can tell they truly care about their guests. Seeing the owner personally greet everyone and take the time to make people feel welcome says everything about the heart behind this restaurant.
It’s rare to find a place that combines incredible food with such warmth and hospitality. This is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience, and one I’ll happily come back to again and again. And they are always open during weather is bad 🙂
We will definitely be back!! ⭐️

I’ve been coming here since 2015, and they never miss. Say, hi to Daniel, he and his team are great people and immaculate service Traditional Pasta & Entrées
• Grandma’s Beef Lasagna: A fan favorite that’s layered thick with ricotta, mozzarella, and a heavy meat sauce.
• Chicken Parmigiana: Classic breaded chicken topped with their signature tomato sauce and melted mozzarella, usually served with a side of spaghetti.
• Seafood Specialties: Surprisingly high-end options like Linguini with Clams (red or white sauce) and Shrimp Scampi.
Subs & Strombolis
• Hot Subs: They do the classics like the Philly Steak Sandwich and Meatball Parmigiana on fresh-baked bread.
• Strombolis & Calzones: If you want that pizza flavor but in a portable “pocket” form, their Strombolis are loaded with meats and cheese.
Salads & Starters
• The Antipasto Salad: A massive bowl of lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, ham, pepperoni, and mozzarella.
• Fried Calamari & Zucchini: If the breadsticks aren’t enough, these are great for sharing. If you’re picky about your pizza, New York Pizza in Valley Ranch is the gold standard. I usually go for the Margherita-style slices, and the quality of ingredients really shines through—the basil is vibrant, the tomatoes are juicy, and the cheese-to-crust ratio is spot on.
In addition, Traditional Pasta & Entrées
For $10, getting two huge slices and fresh bread is a fantastic deal that actually fills you up.
What sets them apart:
• The Crust: It has that authentic New York “snap”—perfectly charred on the bottom with just the right amount of chew. No floppy slices here!
• The Extras: They serve up warm, pillowy breadsticks with butter that are absolutely elite. It’s the perfect starter while you wait for your slices.
• The Vibe: It’s a clean, classic pizza shop with consistently friendly service.
Whether you need a quick lunch or a “real” slice of home, this is the spot. 10/10.
Definitely worth every bit of the pizza fresh made right in front of you and pure authentic style.
Their pastas are amazing, I typically prefer home cooked pastas but this place kills it. Specially their Penne with Vodka Sauce just add chicken and it’s a WRAP! Best restaurant pasta I ever had or liked
Both times I tried their non-custom pizza small and large. Both times were underwhelming especially my second visit. It seems their crust is more on the thinner side now and a little more doughy in the center which I don’t prefer. The pizza sauce is there but I can’t taste it so it just tastes like cheesy doughy bread.
Unfortunately, I’d recommend dominoes pizza over this pizza BUT their pasta is EXCELLENT
Pizza dough was so chewy, my jaw was tired of chewing after once piece. We each had one piece and threw the pizza away. Chocolate cake was super dry. To accommodate, they make sure half the cake is icing. The best thing I had all night was the ranch on my house salad.
We will take our pizza business elsewhere. There are too many places to pay this much and throw almost all of it away.
