We love eating locally and NYPD is a great place to do so. Food is always delicious and service is great. Food is cooked when ordered so yes, you may have a to wait just a little longer than most other places but it’s worth it!

We really enjoyed our food we really enjoyed the service Jess our server was training Beth they were both fabulous Hard-working took great care of us. My husband had the Parmesan chicken he said it had a lot of flavor it was a large portion and he was able to bring half home for dinner tomorrow. I had the burger with the fried And it was delicious I brought half of it home. They’re homemade chips are delicious. We look forward to bringing our family back. Oh also They have great Iced tea.

BEST AUTHENTIC PIZZA AROUND! Chicago deep dish pizza is EVERYTHING & priced surprisingly well! We had superior service from Ashton the whole time! FYI, family seating one side & fun adult sports bar on other side. This is as close to what you actually get in Chicago & NY without being there! ENJOY!

What an amazing server. Unfortunately she kept having to apologize for the approximately 1hr wait it took to get the over cooked pizza. She was extremely kind and made up for the struggles they were having which I am grateful for because a manager never made it by to visit the table.

Excellent food. Tried the buffaloed shrimp, greek and Cesar salads, edamame, Italian Sub and Philly cheesesteak. All great and reordered! Not a fan of the mozzarella wedges. And have not tried the pizza yet but look forward to it.

Threw my parents a surprise party and this place was impeccable! From service to food to making sure the cakes we ordered were there, everything was just wonderful! 10/10 stars if I could give it to them. If ever just going for fun or thinking of doing a gathering, NY Pizza Dept is the place to go! THANK YOU for opening in Lakesite. I’ve heard the food was amazing, and y’all did not disappoint!

The owner and staff really took care of the huge group of family and friends that showed up for my parents surprise party. I heard the pizza, sandwiches and Brussel sprouts were all stellar, and I loved the Caprese salad and the garlic knots. Talk about hard workers- the waitresses really took care of everyone, from drinks to food, and the kitchen staff was amazing!

Came here on a Sunday. Arrived at 11:50. He had got our food at 1:00 Everybody was in the weeds here. The server was nice but they were definitely understaffed and the kitchen was backed up. The food was relatively warm. The pizza was good. I still can’t believe they put a tomato on a hamburger like that. I always tip well regardless of the service. Very disappointed. Maybe being Sunday they were slammed. Cannot recommend.
