Pizza was awesome, highly recommend the bbq chiecken pizza!! Service was great as well!! All in all, solid spot with great food and service! Karlee was my server and she was great and very attentive!

Parking has always been a challenge at this location. The lot is never big enough for a full house, car pooling is HIGHLY recommended. Thursday at 6pm and I had to park across the street in the bank parking lot.
Service from Ruby and helper was great, they took care of 10 of us and we never had empty drinks. Food came out quickly and we had a variety. Steak & cheese wrap was very good, thick crinkle steak fries were fresh and tasty. Wife had teriyaki wings which were large and the sauce was decent. Pizza was good for the others as expected. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The old steel ceiling from Spring Garden days are gone (remember the summer puddles?) but the ceiling has not been replaced under that, they are stained and gross. They seriously need to get a new ceiling in this restaurant, it is off putting.
Food and service are worth going for, tight parking, and the interior needs to be refreshed. We don’t mind some “character” in a place, but the ceiling needs to be replaced at least. Looks like an old run down gas station ceiling, not very appetizing.

While visiting family I ordered take out pizza from New York Pizza Bar and Grille. I am from Brooklyn, so I feel qualified to give my opinion. Great food, good service. They were busy when I picked up, so locals definitely like them too. 2 thumbs up!

I arrived around 6:35pm on a Saturday evening with my son and a friend to get dinner. When arrived, we were told to sit where we wanted. We wanted to sit outside but all the tables were taken.
We ordered at 6:45pm. We got a large meat extravaganza pizza, mozzarella sticks, and 6 piece garlic parm wings. We also ordered 2 margaritas.
Mozzarella sticks came at 7pm. Pizza and wings came at 7:01pm. The margaritas were strong and delicious! I highly recommend them! All the food was fresh and we enjoyed it! This was my first time visiting here and I plan to return, especially as it’s not too far from my house! Service was great!

NY is a cool little locals bar and pizza joint with great bar food and good pizza. They have super friendly staff – shoutout to Chelsea behind the bar. The lunch specials are a great deal and the people hanging there were cool.

I’ve been coming here for many years. Was the best pizza in Greensboro. Crust was great, sauce was on point. Now if you go in the evenings you are outcompeted by bar flys and treated rudely by incompetent servers. Maybe I will come back. Make sure to post on your website when Mekelayae leaves. You will regain allot of well tipping local business.
