I haven’t had NY Pizza since we moved, and this visit made me rethink my travel plans. Stopped in for their two slice & a drink combo. You might think its not worth it but these slices are like 1/4 the size of one of their whole pizzas and everyone can get what they want.
Seriously these slices are our of TEENAGE MUTANT NINJAS TURTLES 2: THE SECRET OF THE OOZE. If you ever seen the opening 10min, you know what Im talking about.
Not too soft, not too flimsy inner crust, and crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside outer crust. The toppings and the cheese coverage were great, the pepperoni themselves have a bit of a spicy kick to them which I liked because they did not taste burnt, they still had flavor. And of course I’m a sucker for a good sauce. Theirs is on the sweeter side with a bit of tang to it, but it complimens the pizza really well. The slices came out piping hot and if youbhave any room left, treat yourself to THRIFTY brand ice cream, the best ice cream I’ve ever had since I was a kid.
Overall, this place does not disappoint. I will have to make the trip out more often because it is worth it and my roommate loves it too. If you are hesitant to buy a pie, give their slices a try. You’ll be glad you did.

Great pizza! Im a regular here. Grabbed a family size to take home tonight! The service is great! Friendly staff. Pizza is delicious. Crispy not much flop. Great sauce and cheese ratio. They changed the interior. Highly recommend. Its been gere since the 70s and its just a great slice of pizza! Please try it out you wont be disappointed!

It ain’t New York but it’s damn good pizza. Crispy crust, no oily cheese, just enough tomato sauce. Fresh and searingly hot out of the oven, folded in half for speed eating, it is delicious.
Super clean tables, floors, and condiment bottles.

Meatball subs & pizza tastes like back home which is great taste& large portions , originally being from NJ by way of NY. It’s hard to find good pizza, subs & seafood here in Az, especially Tucson. I found the pizza staff very friendly. Games to play, ice cream making it kid friendly. Alcohol available for the big kids along with pool table. Atmosphere is clean. I go here at least 2x a month..lunch specials as well

I come here for lunch every other Tuesday as they’re located right where my route is. I always get their monster-sized slice of pepperoni pizza (quickest option) and a drink. It’s a very affordable and delicious lunch! The employees are always polite and helpful.

Stopped by on a whim and was pleasantly suprised. Really good New York style pizza. Huge slices, very friendly people, and a nice open layout. Bought two slices, and could only finish the one. Going to add to my weekly rotation. And they also have Thrifty’s ice cream. When everyone else is raising prices it’s nice finding a local owned shop still affordable.

My kid brought it home for me and this was always one of my favorite places for authentic NY tasting pizza. Living on the other side of town it was always a treat to come here and then enjoy some the next day at home.
The recipe has definitely changed. The sauce tasted like it was heavy on tomato paste, hardly any cheese, and the sausage was bland. It’s pizza but as a LI native it boils down to the restauranteur’s recipes and consistency.
As for the esthetic, my kid informed me it’s been renovated, the old sports pics were missed, and had nothing bad to say about the staff.

Love this place! Best fresh made pizza I’ve had this side of Tucson. They have a nice lunch special of a slice of pizza and drink for less than 6 bucks, but the slice is huge and made to order. All ingredients are fresh.

This pizza has been the most consistent meal in all my years on this earth. It’s delicious! The atmosphere is classic even with the new upgrades. Service is always friendly. I only wish I lived closer to have it more often!
