Service was extremely slow even though it didn’t seem busy. It took them over 30 min to get me my pizza and chicken wings ready. After I waited there for what seemed to be forever, I went home without checking my order. To my surprise, my wings didn’t have any sauce on it which I specifically ordered. The pizza was not cooked thoroughly and extremely soggy and greasy on the bottom. Nothing like a real New York pizza. I called the store to complain but I was placed on hold for over 5 min just to listen to the chatter in the background. After a while I gave up and hung up as no one ever got back in the phone. Just bad customer service and food experience overall! Will never come back here and would recommend not to buy anything here. Not wroth the money nor your time!

Imagine: it’s midnight as you leave wally’s jazz bar. you’ve had a few beers and at this point anything will hit the spot. you order a pizza with chicken. what you receive? an amalgamation beyond explanation. whether it can be classified as pizza is doubtful. the sole existence of what you’re served is adequate proof that god is either not real or not all good. the experience of new york pizza changed not only my perspective on the establishment, but permanently shattered my opinion of italian cuisine as a whole.

Do NOT order from here. I mistakenly thought this was a different place and ordered a simple, small cheese pizza.
What arrived was….almost a pizza? The crust looked like it was play-dough, raw, misshapen, ripped when I tried to take any slice. Cheese was incredibly uneven, some pools of sauce with huge areas uncovered, other areas massive clumps of cheese.
I couldn’t even bring myself to try it, it looked and felt that bad to pick up. Not worth doing that to myself.
Never again.

I’ve always liked the chicken parm subs from this establishment but I happened to order a cheese pizza and was truly disappointed. There is too much tomato sauce and the cheese was not melted or evenly distributed. Overall, this pizza seemed undercooked. This has happened to me twice and there won’t be a third time. I will stick to chicken parmesan subs until that disappoints me.

Pizza is a good size, (size of two pizza) for $6 a slice. It’s thin so it’s hard to eat and it gets messy. Topping is fine and sauce is more tomatoey but nothing to write home about. Overall it’s okay

Walked in before 9 for a slice. I dunno about other reviews but our slices were out of the oven hot and delicious. I ordered BBQ chicken and friend got chicken bacon ranch. Great slice for the money spent. A lot of boston pizza spots the guys look like miserable tough guys but the guys here were actually nice. Seating area was messy but it was a busy night.

Worst pizza I ever had. It’s worse than school cafeteria pizza and cost over $5. The sauce sauce tasted like tomato paste. The dough was cold on one side and burnt on the other side. As a kid this place was the go to in the area. Now this place can’t compete with Domino’s. It was a waste of my money. Avoid this place. They should be ashamed of themselves. Avoid this pizzeria if you value you enjoy fresh delicious pizza. I would choose frozen pizza over this place.

Massive slices 2x a normal slice in size (about 1/5 of a normal XL pie ; $4.95 for a veggie slice with sparse toppings). Absolutely delicious, tender, chewy, real bread crust, that gets a good crunch. The bones (edges of the slice) are good enough to eat alone for an entire meal. Sauce is slightly sweet. Very casual atmosphere. Pizzeria frequented by local residents & construction workers, a sign of its quality. The bacon-chicken-white cheese slice is a tasty gut-bomb.
