New York Pickle Deli has always been about the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Our juicy boneless, skinless chicken breast is seasoned without preservatives, and with 3 ingredients; black pepper, sea salt and parsley. Our roast beef is slow roasted right here in our oven for almost 3 hours. Our New York style corned beef is slow cooked every day with natural garlic and spices; making our Reubens and corned beef hash customer favorites…(our favorites too). For breakfast you will find our secret recipe cinnamon wheat pancakes. Our breakfast syrup is a down south recipe with real vanilla, brown sugar and nutmeg. You will find something you love at breakfast or lunch.

Nice local place, traditionally a lot of fried and greasy food. Lots of guests on weekends

This deli has such a great variety of food for breakfast and lunch that will fulfill all of your tastebuds and the service is top tier. My personal favorite, The Skinny Jimmy, is my favorite on the menu. Not to mention the owners, who are very nice!

Really enjoyed our breakfast at NYPD. It’s definitely a laid-back relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious. We shared a Belgian waffle and the corned beef hash skillet. The waffle is everything I could ever want a Belgian waffle to be, and the homemade apples were fantastic. Looking forward to going again soon.

I just moved to Connecticut and found this place on my town’s Facebook page. All I can say is that they do not disappoint. The food and environment is absolutely phenomenal (I had the Autumn Pancakes and my spouse had the Eggs Benedict). I am definitely looking forward to many breakfasts here.

This place was great until the original owners sold it. Customer service is terrible now. Basic breakfast with coffee for 4 of us was $100. They brought over a metal container of “creamer” for the coffee and i asked what was in it, light cream, half & half, whole milk, 2% etc and the waitress looked at me like i had 3 heads, took a long pause and said “cream”. Was probably half and half. One dish was so salty, it was totally inedible. They didn’t even offer to remove it from the bill even though it was virtually untouched. Wont be going back.

A maximalist’s DREAM! this place was crazy awesome! great breakfast, I definitely recommend the California Benedict! The avocados were perfectly ripe! VERY VERY friendly staff! So many people came up to make sure that we were being helped, I’m not quite sure who our server even was!

We have had positive experiences here in the past but yesterday was very disappointing. From the start I was being instructed to wait for the rest of my party, and asked if I had a reservation while the restaurant was almost empty. Our food was almost completely cold, we had to ask for coffee refill and the waitress brought the check before refilling us. Waitresses kept coming by to see if we were done, and we were not taking an excessive amount of time by any means. The final insult was when another waitress came by and said did you pay your bill? Because we have two parties waiting to be seated.

We waited for a table, we waited for menus, we waited a long time for our lunch. The lentil soup was not done enough for me. The wrap was so expensive $18 and the burnt sweet potatoes were $3.00 extra! The tea was $5.00. Not worth it.

There is no better breakfast place. Their Omelets are terrific. I always recommend the pancakes, Especially the low fat wheat cinnamon pancakes. Lunch is also a great experience there.
