As a vegetarian, I had just accepted that I’d never have a gyro again, that is until I saw New York Lunch- East Ave offers an Impossible Gyro.
I cannot recommend this place enough for the great vegetarian options. They also have a falafel gyro and vegetarian chili on the menu that I’ll try someday, but I love the Impossible Gyro so much it’s hard to get myself to try something new.
Their breakfasts are 10/10. The staff is 11/10. I love this establishment much!

I had eggs bacon and pancakes, they serve breakfast all day. Food was fast, hot and good. Cant beat the prices there! Staff is very friendly and attentive. We left a nice tip cause of that. My sis had burger and fries, under $10.

This place is FANTASTIC from entrance to exit. A CLASSIC “greasey-spoon” hot dog stand w/ more personality than 75% of the human race. The food is exactly what you expect it to be hot dogs, ffs & milkshake was had and did not disappoint!! So much so we went back this morning for breakfast It was great too; Big Breakfast & Waffle breakfast with everything cooked superbly!! Coffee cup was filled w/out asking. Darcy is genuinely sweetly sassy ♡ Nina is cute as a button & her son is the epitome of hospitality!! All the workers are warm & inviting plus you can tell they enjoy working there!! We WILL BE BACK!

The food here is pretty good. I got a 2 patty burger with fries and a big peanut butter milkshake. The service is also very friendly and helpful. We received refills often and had fast service. The atmosphere here is unique all the photos of the history of eerie and the older buildings around.
