I was looking on google for a place that sells soup and I found. I ordered the matzo soup and it was so good. I enjoyed the brisket sandwich. It was amazing. The staff very friendly. Definitely want to come back and eat at the sitting area and try some more food 🙂

Wow, just wow! In Torrance to visit, Gracie University stopped into this little New York deli unassuming in a strip center, and I’m telling you top notch! Highly recommend. The menu is great, the service was great, and the food was killer!

So a buddy from work told me try this place and it didn’t disappoint! What a cute little place. Looks family owned and keep very clean. Doesn’t look like much from outside but when you walk in, it feels like a New York deli. They offer beer and wine. I got a corned beef and pastrami sandwich and it was huge and delicious! The only thing I didn’t like was the macaroni salad. I highly recommend this place.

Been coming here for years and never disappointed.!
Today making headway into one of my favorites, a delicious pastrami Reuben, but there’s enough to take home for probably 2 more meals. All the side salads are made fresh daily here. Lots of takeout orders always going on, but eating in is great: service is with a smile and the atmosphere is very relaxing. What a treasure!

After being recommended to me by multiple people over the last year, I’m glad I finally came in. The hype was worth it!

We all got the philly cheesesteak and fries, and agreed it was quite good. The sandwich was well stuffed with ingredients, and served and a sturdy roll so that kept it from getting soggy. The fries were very good as well.

The decor and lighting is nice and the place has good atmosphere too. The staff was also very kind and helpful.

We all agreed we’ll be back to try the Reuban and the corned beef.

Highly recommended!

It’s like a trip to old New York. It’s a good deli and one of the most authentic to an old school NY deli in Los Angeles (well, Torrance). The sandwiches are good, reasonably priced 16 for a standard 18 for a “NY high” (that’s just cheese, Russian dressing, and coleslaw slapped on top) and 28 for a triple decker which looks pretty large and worth it. Matzah ball soup looks good (a little pricey at 12$) and the meats are all fresh and very good tasting.

It ain’t no Carnegie deli, but you don’t have to fly to NY. the sandwiches aren’t as huge here, but neither are the prices.

It’s an old place, with limited staff, but that adds to the charm.

If you like NY style deli food, try this place it’s one of the better ones out there.

So I was so hungry, I didn’t take a photo of the food. Next time I promise.

Hey I remembered to photo first, scarf down my food next.

Found out today that they charge per glass of lemonade (2.95 a glass). Doesn’t say no refills anywhere. That’s a bit pricey for some country time mix and water. Just beware.

This restaurant needs a pickle bar. Otherwise the food is delicious for $20 sandwich plates. Not clear if everything or anything was Kosher. The decor is absolutely “kitsch”. Service was attentive before 6:00pm. Seating is cafeteria style. There is outdoor seating as well.

If you are looking for a taste of the east coast (or specifically longing for some Big Apple staples)…..New York Deli in Torrance is a must!
This is what a legit NY style Deli experience should be like. Great pastrami stacked high…..matzo ball soup that’s the essence of comfort food and friendly staff.
Like all food establishments right now, it was a little slow….but that’s the only mildly negative thing I can say. It’s not brand new or updated….but it’s a nice environment and has a nice little outdoor seating area.
Oh yeah…..and get the cheesecake. We’ll be back.

Founded in 1985 this deli is voted one of the best in Southern California. They have added some items over the years but the sandwiches are still massive. Today was my first time trying their wings and fries. Both were very good. The wings were so good I took a order to go.
