An acquaintance invited my husband and me here while we were staying in Stockton. There were seven of us, so we chose the dinner set menu for eight people (Set Menu E) for $160.
The amount of food was very generous—so much that we couldn’t finish everything with seven people. In hindsight, the appetizers weren’t really necessary. Overall, the food was just okay; nothing stood out enough to keep us reaching for more.
We also ordered tea for two people, but it was extremely weak, almost like drinking hot water. The sizzling rice soup service was nice and probably the highlight of the meal.
The restaurant itself had a pleasant atmosphere, and although there was only one male staff member, service was fine. That said, aside from the soup presentation, nothing was particularly memorable. Gratuity was included in the bill.

The restaurant is decorated inside. Food was decent 3 star. The server was nice since we were the only ones there for the entire time. Hard-working people .

First time here. The place is nice and food was good. Not the best we have had but good. We ordered the family meal for three and it came with sizzling rice soup, pot stickers, steamed rice, Mongolian beef, house chicken and prawns.we also ordered a side of pork chow mein. The soup was great with lots of different textures (mushrooms, shrimp, chicken, veggies, water chestnuts). The Mongolian beef and house chicken were really good! Crispy, bit spicy and good flavor. The prawns one of us liked but the rest of us didn’t care for it…too much sauce for our taste. The chow mein was ok, simple. Pot stickers were good, not great. The service was average. The place was getting a bit hot and there was no air conditioning. Overall it was good we might come back again, if our go to spot is closed like today. We would give it a 3.5 overall. Total price was over $70 not including tip.

Came to try out a new place for use as we are settling into this town still.
We didn’t even get to eat.
I walked in with my toddler, was trying to settle him in and read the menu while he as any toddler had it in his hands before I could grab it, the server came to take my order less than a minute of us sitting. I ordered a few items as I planned to pack some to go, she took my order and came back immediately not enough time to get to kitchen or anywhere to let me know the kitchens gas no longer works it would be a wait, signaling they did not want to serve us.
He wasn’t being loud or anything, I don’t get it.

Then they seated someone else.
We left.

For the price this place is really skimping out on the servings. For each piece of meat I got maybe five raw onions chunks alongside it. They weren’t small one bite chunks either. I ordered the curry chicken, not a bowl of chopped raw onions. If I wanted that I’d just go to a grocery store, buy a couple onions and sprinkle curry powder and hot water on them.

This is literally all onions.

IMO, this is the best Chinese food in all of Stockton. They have the best pot stickers, hot and sour soup, hot and spicy green beans ( add prawns) and chow mein. I will stop here every time in town, it’s that good and the prices are very inexpensive.

I got the lunch special #5, hot braised pork with vegetables and special hot sauce. The meal came with rice, two fried wonton skins, and a bowl of soup (in my case, it was hot and sour soup). The hot and sour soup was delicious and well-balanced in terms of spice and acidity with a nice ratio of ingredients. The braised pork was steamy and flavorful. The pork itself was a bit chewy, but not too bothersome. The crispy friend wonton skins are a nice addition. I do wish the rice portion was a bit bigger, it’s around a handful. The staff were friendly and answered my question when I asked them what they’d recommend. However, they seemed a bit impatient. Overall, my experience was good, the food was great, and I’d return.

We ordered Dinner for two, our soup was delicious, followed with pot stickers then our fried rice, house chicken and Mongolian Beef. Food was plenty, fresh, very well seasoned, very pleasant meal. Enough for take home and we enjoyed the next day.
Pleasant lil place, and now my favorite spot.
