Korean BBQ on a super hot summer day is a must at New Wonjo. It’s an amazement to watch real wood charcoal grilling your favorite meats while the AC is blasting! Friendly staffs carefully grill the meats and place them on a separate dish over lettuce to keep it more juicy.

Wonjo can serve 8 of us on Friday night. I tried several restaurants around the area and none can do that. We ordered the premium set of bbq. The good thing I like is they cook for us. I usually overcook my streak when I m doing the bbq by myself. I like the pork belly and the rib eyes the most. They give us extra side dishes when we request and veg wrapping too. Service is good. This is my third time back.

This was my last evening in NYC and I just walked out from different restaurant due to terrible experience. I walked to K-Town and came to New Wonjo (recommended by my Korean friend). I was hungry and tired. The restaurant was busy, but the staff have seated me and offered beverage which arrived in no time as well as the usual starters. I have ordered hot starter and main course and within next 10-12 minutes my food was on the table. The food was delicious and so flavourful and the service was amazing. The staff was very courteous, multiple people have passed by the table to check if I’m enjoying my meal and of I need anything. I definitely recommend New Wonjo,can’t wait to be back! Try it out, don’t miss out their Korean Barbecue!

This is my first time eating. I came here for dinner and I was impressed by their food. I ordered Bulgoki Bibimpap, crab, and tofu soup. A big portion of food with great service. I highly recommend this place. I’ll come back again.

THE BEST KOREAN BBQ!!! My friends and I had dinner at this location after a concert and it was a lovely experience. Staff is super nice and the place looks nice inside and out. Food is absolutely DELICIOUS! I had the Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken & the O-Jinguh Dup Bop.

KoreaTown. There’s tons of Korean BBQ spots and I happened upon New Wonjo. You had the option of just ordering prepared meals or having a grill provided at your table where the server cooked your favorite meat sources. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The combos came with a variety of side dishes, rice, and a soup. I would recommend going in on the combos if you’re not solo. It’s just more economical than a la carte. Our servers were khuanghee and Angelina,both super nice and helpful with sharing their food and culture.
