Delicious Chinese buffet!! And wow what a value for the price. Pretty much everything we ate was so so good, and they have over 100 items. I especially enjoyed the teriyaki chicken, fried chicken wings, Mongolian pork, sweet and sour spare ribs, salmon, coconut shrimp, butterfly shrimp, green beans, mushrooms and dumplings, puffy bread, and coffee cake. The meats were all so tender. They also have sushi, salads, soups, and desserts. My husband and I went with family for dinner but we’re from out of town, we liked it so much we went back for lunch before we drove home! They are a family business, very nice and great service. Honestly why get an appetizer plate of chicken wings at a chain restaurant for $16 when instead you can enjoy an all you can eat delicious family owned buffet!

The staff here is really friendly and on top of everything. They don’t have the selection of the super-duper buffets, but what they do have is well done and relatively fresh.

Everything was fresh, tasty. The sushi, hot dishes, and veggies were all really good. For what you pay, this buffet is an excellent deal. I’d definitely come back!

Why the one star? …..
The food was cold!
I don’t know what was going on, but most of the food was cold. I’m not sure if the equipment wasn’t working right or what the problem was.
On a good note, the place was very clean and the service was excellent. The price was reasonable too when compared to other Asian buffets.
As you can see from the pic, the food looks appetizing and I might try this place again someday. But only if they fix their equipment or their procedures so that the food is served at the appropriate temperature.
Wishing the best to New Town Buffet and hoping they will let us know when the problems are fixed.

Very nice buffet. Clean. Bright. They didn’t over fill the food pans on the buffet tables, so none of the food sat there for very long. A lady kept an eye on the tables and ordered items as they got low and kept enough food to take what you want, but not too much sat there. Good turnover, too. The food was quite good. The sushi was better than average at a buffet, for sure. I tried every kind. All were good. The butterfly shrimp was good. The seafood delight was good. The soft serve vanilla ice cream was wonderful. Creamy and tasty. I will definitely be coming back.

Such a lovely small family business! I really enjoyed the welcoming ambiance, beautiful interior designs, friendly customer service (the front desk ladies are so sweet!), and the variety of delicious dishes. We came for the buffet around 5pm on a weekend and every dish was fresh and warm. My favorites were the deep-fried sushi rice balls, dumplings with their house-made sauce, sautéed mushrooms, and the hot-and-sour soup. Definitely one of the best buffets in Tucson, and for this Price! 10/10 recommend!

Wanted to try a different Chinese buffet for a change from my regular haunts. This was only my second visit here; it’s quite a drive from the east side. In summary, a good little buffet, nice selection of appetizing dishes, well maintained, counters are kept clean. They have a sushi counter where you’ll see staff preparing rolls fresh. The buffet prices are reasonable. All in all a nice experience, a delicious lunch — perhaps not quite as good as the place on Ina, but in terms of food and atmosphere they are head and shoulders above the place on Wilmot.

Visited New Town Buffet in Tucson and found the experience to be fairly average. On the positive side, the food was decent – there was a good variety of dishes available and everything tasted pretty good. The staff was nice and very attentive – they kept the buffet well-stocked and clean. I thought the price was reasonable for the amount of food available.
A few downsides would be the tables and chair were not cleaned very well. During our visit, it was a bit sticky and detracted my overall enjoyment of the meal.
Overall, I would say that New Town Buffet is a decent option for a quick and affordable meal especially if you are in the mood for a buffet

This place used to be amazing but lately the staff has gotten lazier. I was just there for my birthday on New Years Eve and our waitress barely checked on us and the food was stale like it had been out all day and the seafood looked like rubber. Like I said this place is usually amazing and my family likes to go there frequently but the last time was a let down.
