I had such a great experience here, not just because of the food and service, but because of the owner’s honesty and kindness. Yesterday I almost left double the tip by mistake, and she immediately pointed it out and reminded me to double-check before processing it. That level of integrity really stood out to me.
She is truly caring and thoughtful toward her customers, and it shows she runs her business with heart. I really appreciate her honesty and will absolutely continue supporting this place. Highly recommend!

The most authentic and delicious k-restaurant here. The Kalbitang, Bibimbab, grilled fish all so good, large portion good price. Great service, even refill the small dishes (which is a korean way but uncommon in the US)!

We got pork belly bossam and green onion seafood pancake. The bossam was almost michelin star restaurant food but the pancake was not crispy and too oily. Also the side dishes were awesome.

I was stationed in Korea for a long time.
This almost brought me to tears – the ambiance, the food, the experience was wonderfully surreal. Everything was excellent, but by far the grilled mackerel is the King of entree’s!!!! Hallelujah!! Beer was good too.
(This used to be at a different location but it had burned down. So glad that they came back!)

Was craving bossam and this place got it. The fried dumplings were bigger than I expected. They don’t serve hot water though, only bottled water.

New Tosokjib is a solid spot for Korean food. The portions are large and great for sharing, especially the bossam, which was tender, flavorful, and the highlight of the meal. The rich soybean paste soup was just okay.
Service was efficient and courteous, and the overall dining experience was smooth and satisfying. A good choice if you’re looking for a authentic Korean meal in the area.

Went here for lunch and I enjoyed the bulgogi beef and the dumplings here. My favorite dish was the Korean pancake which had a very unique flavor to it. The Korean food here is delicious and authentic and better than any other place I’ve been to. The waiter was friendly and the service was pretty good.

The restaurant’s setting reminded me of the movies. It looked humble and cozy. My friend got the fish and it was great! The kimchi chigae was very good with a generous amount of tofu in it but I wished they would’ve added more pork to it. It was a calm setting and I enjoyed the food.

If you want decent Korean food, this is the place! I’ve been looking for places that make authentic traditional dishes (not the new fusion restaurants), and a friend recommended Tosokjib. I tried the Galchi gui and doenjang jigae. Both were delicious and the banchan was good too.
