Worst pizza I have ever had delivered. Period.

Ordered at 8:02 got delivered at 9:34. Pizza is so burnt that when you touch the crust it disintegrates like when you touch a piece of ash in a fire. Called back to get my money back and the best they could do was make me another one. When I asked how long they told me it’s busy so a little over an hour. So I’ll get a pizza at 11 when I ordered it at 8 PM. Never go here unless your walking in and grabbing a slice.

Came here on a whim with a friend. Darrell ran everything (pizza maker, cashier, etc.) and was extremely welcoming and patient (we took a while to decide what we wanted). On display were 16 pizza options to buy as slices with more available to purchase as whole pies, to include specials. Had a slice of the Maggy (tomato and spinach) and a slice of the Buffalo Chicken. Both were freshly made. Great crispy crust. Was very tempted to get a 3rd slice after.

The vibe of Tony’s is casual and cozy. It has an open-air feel with the door and the bay window shutters pushed back, despite the small interior. Music of choice is uncensored rap and R&B with the corresponding music videos playing on a small TV screen on the front wall.

Will definitely return.

Stromboli was out of this world. Prices not bad for San Diego. On a personal note, all the music was uncut so it was cursing galore. This is not a bar, this is a restaurant. That is my only complaint.

Got the job done, needed some food before a night out. This was the closest place to our hotel. Got a slice of Chicken Pesto and Buffalo Chicken. They had a 2 slice with a glass of beer deal so I took advantage of that. Overall cannot complain and did its job.

Pretty damn good pizza. Lots of slice variety. Glad I walked in. I had a “Brewski” which is a basic pepperoni & cheese slice with a generous amount of sausage and ricotta cheese on top.

This place is never open!!! The pizza actually isn’t bad. You gotta buy by the slice if you want the best taste. But they obvious don’t like making money or working since they only open 2 days a week now. Might as well not me open

Oh my goodness you guys. I was craving pizza when we decided to walk around downtown after 2 days of thanksgiving leftovers. I told my friends I want a good pizza though, crispy, crunchy and salty. We rounded a corner and there was Tony’s. 8 bucks for two pieces and a soda. They had so many to choose from. I had the near lovers. You pick what you want and they stick them in the pizza oven to warm it up. Boy did they deliver. Hot, crunchy and great toppings. Service was fast and friendly. We sat outside to people watch as we ate. Awesome surprise, just a small little place. Reminded us all of New York!

Made the walk from the convention center for lunch. I had to walk past a few places to find a price point to stay under my company’s per diem. 2 slices and a soda combo? Perfect! Staff was very friendly, food was good. Slices could have been a little warmer, but flavors were good. Music as others have noted, was not family friendly, not that I minded, but just confirming what others have said. Thanks for lunch!

Average food, but they’re going to not deliver your food on about half of the times you order. You’ll call, after having waited an hour and change for them to get moving and they’ll apologize and give you a refund. Which means that now you have to figure something else out for food. Have fun waiting another hour because no one wants to take any kind of responsibility.

“We’re busy” “We only have two drivers”, yeah, that’s how pizza places work. Literally every other pizza place in the city manages without issue. Order from one of them.

Ordered food from here on GrubHub for a small group of people. Not only were they 30 minutes late in delivering our order (with no communication) but:

1) Not all of the food we ordered was delivered
2) The pizza crust on both of our pizzas was burnt. We didn’t even bother eating one of the pizzas. The other was mediocre at best
3) The fries were not fully cooked
4) The mozzarella sticks were barely cooked
5) Like a previous poster, the meatball sub we ordered was cold and unappetizing

Would not recommend this place in any way shape or form.
