Decided to stop in and try for the first time and the food was actually delicious and did not taste old like other Chinese take out! The lady in the front is so sweet and welcoming truly made the experience even better she even gifted my daughter a little cake! I would definitely go back.

It’s been so long since I dined at New Taste of China.
My goodness! It was better than ever. From the moment I walked in , it felt like everyone cared. The super busy cashier was stuffing bags, and giggling, so happy to see me.
She told the guys In the back,in the kitchen, and they all stopped for 1 full second, and waved to me.
I ordered the house lomein with everything. 2 shrimp rolls and a small order of hot sour soup. It took me all afternoon to finish, but it was the best Chinese food this side of China.
Please do yourself a favor, and pull into the little plaza on new Britain ave….right next to Shield St. You will return over and over again!

surprising to see so many low reviews, though it seems to be from a previous owner by the look of the comments. I was in the area for a few days and really got to enjoy their food. Nice little place to stop by eat in or take out. I tend to buy a sprite or dr. pepper to pair it with anything aha. Its clean and neat inside. Everyone seems friendly and the one up front is really very attentive :). Can’t wait to drop by when in the area again soon!

I love eating and ordering from this restaurant, the dumplings and food are freshly made not frozen or pre cooked. This restaurant is a must!!!!! They deliver quickly and the restaurants kitchen is always clean which is a plus. Great customer service but most importantly fresh food!!!!!
