This is my go-to Indian choice when I am staying in Columbus. I’ve ordered here about five times now and they have never disappointed. I’ve tried other Indian restaurants but keep coming back. One thing to know though is that their version of “medium” spicy would be considered “hot” or “very hot” by just about every other restaurant. Even with the extra kick, the flavors are never overwhelmed by the spice. Try the saag paneer or tadka dal. Delicious!

I ordered garlic bread, not a raw garlic tasting menu. Massive chunks of garlic in undercooked dough, chicken so dry it needs life support, and no cutlery even though I asked for it. A truly chaotic dining experience.

OMG!!! The food was amazing I’m from Ecuador and I’ve traveled the world trying different cuisines, and I can honestly say this food is truly authentic. Highly recommended!
Plus, they were open on Christmas I didn’t even take pictures because I enjoyed it soooo much

They probably combined the leftover food and served it to us. Everything was really disgusting and awful! I will definitely never come here again.

We stopped here as Ruby Tuesdays was closed. Lucky us. My wife has lived in Tooting, London. This area specialises in Asian food. The meal was as good as anything produced there. The cook must have been Bangladeshi. We had beef, chicken and vegetable dishes medium spicy. It tasted mild to medium to our palette. We took some home and the flavours were intensified the next day. Money well spent.

Update: After being to many Indian buffets afround columbus I feel that New Taj Mahal is not very creative and flavorful as others. For the same price there are many other better options.
This place serves a good Indian Lunch Buffet. I like this place as it has many options to try from. The food taste is good overall, can’t complain if some items do not taste very good. It is never very crowded and accessible. The flavors are okay. The service is also good. If you wanna try more Indian dishes in one time, go for their lunch buffet. My go to place for good Indian food!

Food was amazing the paneer tikka masala and the home made naans were surprisingly delicious. The raitha was also very refreshing paired with the nice spicy shrimp biryani. The nice thing is that thy also offer a 15% off discount to OSU Students.
10/10 will highly recommend!

Definitely one of the best places to eat in town, especially if you like curry/Indian food. I go often for the lunch buffet. It is outstanding! Several great options and everything was really good. Great menu dishes too. The place is a little old, but the food definitely makes up for it.

Tasty and authentic food, with great deals on delivery. I have enjoyed many of their vegetarian staples. They can be on the spicier side (which I love), so if you prefer mild, select your spice preference as mild!
