New Saigon not only serves the best phố, it’s also the most GENEROUS portion around. And I only got the large (there’s an XL!). I know I’m lame for getting crab rangoons but the kicker was finding out they have chunks of REAL crab meat. Amazing. The service is incredible and the waitress is always a delight. I enjoyed my dinner alone but there’s a lot of seating, invite your friends & family to this gem of a restaurant!

Flying out to Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi tomorrow and staying at a hotel down the road. Thought it would be nice to do some prep work before the trip. All I can say is that if this food is any representation of what we have to look forward to we may not survive this trip. So delicious and fresh with rich amazing flavors. We were in heaven. Top it off with amazing service and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off our trip. Definitely worth going!

Just wasted $30 for Seafood noodles and ice tea. The shrimp and squid were overcooked and chewy. The fishcakes were an unknown something with no taste and the imitation crab wasn’t pleasant. This was absolutely the worst Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. The Thai ice tea was overpriced at $7.50. However, the young man waiter was pleasant and listened to our feedback. Unfortunately, I’d never go back there again nor would I recommend the restaurant.

Ordered takeout. We got the vermicelli noodles, pleasantly surprised how huge the portions were, compared to many other Vietnamese restaurants we’ve been to. Generous helping of the grilled pork. The fish sauce had a nice spicy kick to it. We will def be back to try other items on the menu.

This was possibly one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. I came in with a family of 6. Greeted fairly quick. Sat us down and we waited another 15 minutes to order . The server repeated the order to us. We received the appetizers quick. Crab rangoons were great. Chicken wings are bland. Half of the table received the food thirty minutes later …after half the table finished eating their food, we still didn’t receive our other entrees. It’s been 45 minutes we then questioned where our other entrees were.a different server comes to the table and lets us know the sever do not put the order in. We were shocked but decided to wait for the food ..20 minutes later the food came out and half of us lost our appetite from the wait…took our meal to go. Also had to wait another ten minutes for a to go box after asking twice. The pho broth was mediocre, we had much better . Spicy beef noodle soup bland. Pork chop on fried rice was delicious. I have it two stars only because of the pork chops and crab Rangoon.

We ordered food to go, which was so good. We ordered from the Chinese cuisine items, and got combo lo mien and pork with gai lan. The actual restaurant is a store front, and decor is basic. The place is clean.

Let me just start off by saying, this was not my first option. My girlfriend and I were walking trying to find good places to eat and we actually ended up coming here and leaving because we THOUGHT this place wouldn’t be good. For anyone reading this review … New Saigon Restaurant is the BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had . Enough Said

The chicken broth had no flavor and tasted like water. There was also mushrooms, cucumbers, and brocolli in my pho which ive never gotten before. And my friends had the pork one and the meat was so hard it wasn’t chewable. Wouldn’t come back here. Egg rolls were decent and coconut water was good.

Fresh rolls were good with a good peanut sauce. The pho was a bit underwhelming, not flavorful enough. Perhaps missing star annise. But did clear out my stuffy head.

Good portions and tasty. The waiter was nice. The dining room was clean. I has able to enjoy a nice early dinner without any rush and it was comfortable. Overall, I’d call the experience average and I would be happy to return.
