Food is great! Eaten here many times and it’s always delicious. Can take a while to get your food so just get a drink to enjoy because it’s worth the wait. We had Molly G. as our waitress today and she was honestly really disappointing but usually we have fantastic service!

My fiance and I stopped in while visiting Boone on a Saturday evening. The staff was friendly, there was a covered patio to eat outside and the food was good. My only issue was the wait time. The place was relatively slow (maybe 5 tables total) and we waited 45 minutes for our food. The starter salad came out after the entrees and then it took another 30 minutes or so just to get the check and pay. Our total was 65$ and we gave the waitress a 100$ bill. She never came back with the change and after 20 or so minutes my fiance went to find her so we could get going. I’m not sure if she assumed it was a 35$ tip or forgot about us but it was a long and uncomfortable experience. Again, they were very friendly, just very slow

The atmosphere in there is sweet! I got some wings with my buddies and they were awesome. I got a side of the voodoo sauce and YEEEOOOUCH it was the hottest sauce I have ever put in my mouth! Perfect! The regular wings were the perfect spice and heat I loved them. The service was pretty good except for this one chick “Laroom”. She didnt really seem like she wanted to be there and was pretty condescending. Other servers were regularly visiting their tables but she would sit back and barely visit our table. Killer wings tho

Great food, very chill vibe. We have been a couple of times now and really like it. The reason I gave it 3 overall stars is I had to wait a long time for the bathroom. They have two single bathrooms. Once the one opened up more than one person came out and said they were having a pow wow. Really? And one was a staff member. That was just rediculous to me.

We stopped in New River Grill recently in search of a good fried snack and cold beers. We weren’t disappointed!
We sat at the bar, and were promptly greeted by the bartender. Two of us each ordered beers, and decided to split 8 wings in the medium buffalo sauce and an order of the fried pickle chips. The bartender was great, and quickly got our beers. A short time later, we had our food. There’s nothing particularly songs were good, as were the pickle chips, though the breading on the pickle chips was a bit on the heavy side.
There’s nothing particularly upscale or fancy about the decor or the menu, but if you’re in search of a cold beer and a burger or wings, New River Grill is a great choice.

Was here Thurs night 09/18 and ordered 24 wings to go, asked me what flavors I said “chef’s choice”. Look at this picture dude literally just dumped a side of sauce on like 5 of them and the other 19 were plain jane no extra sauces didn’t even toss them just dumped a side of some sweet Chipotle on like 5 of them. Seriously?
Wow. One star for this chef whoever that was last Friday night.
Five stars for the older bartender she’s awesome. I’m not going to eat here again but I’ll come back for drinks on occasion.

Food was very underwhelming. Cheese sticks were empty. The breading was very thick. Marinara sauce came out of the fridge cold. Fries are very difference and an acquired taste. I had a chicken ceaser and my chicken was so dry that I could barely tell which was a croutons and which was chicken. Atmosphere was nice and pricing was good, but food is not good. The Wife and I stopped in for the 8oz center cut Sirloin . We walked in , We were immediately seated. The Waitress took Our drink orders and We placed Our food order.
Within 20 minutes Our Steaks arrived and were excellent.
The atmosphere was a little loud and boisterous, but this is a college town , so We kind of expected that , and didn’t let it bother Us

I had the Thai chili tuna. The sauce was pretty good. The tuna was WAY over cooked and was by itself on a plate with no sides.. I ordered rice pilaf and it came 10 mins later… chicken sandwiches were slightly over as well but not bad. Fried Mac and cheese balls were tasty! 3.25 with room for improvement.

Great little Grill! We had chili since it was a cool rainy Boone day we also shared a Papagayo peppers appetizer which paired well! Perfect lunch and covered outdoor seating made for a great time enjoying the cool weather. We had a great service by El! We’ll be coming back again and again!
