This is our go to Indian food choice. Everything I’ve eaten was fantastic. Most orders are take out, don’t expect a contemporary atmosphere (its an old Pizza Hut), but expect good food, great portions and priced affordable. Everybody we bring here, becomes a new fan. There is an exceptional selection of Indian sweets. Don’t come early if you want Tandori chicken, it takes time to cook, …but you can get chicken tikka at noon. If I can repeat anything…love the food!

Honestly the best tasting Indian food in Kelowna. My girlfriend and I used to order from another local popular Indian restaurant, but after dining here, enjoying the food and their wonderful selection of sweets, this is going to be our new go-to. The samosas were delicious with beautiful spices, and my chicken tikka masala was delectable!

Disappointed with pickup timing. I ordered food from New Punjab and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived after 30 minutes, but then I was told it would take another 10 minutes. In reality, I ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes before getting my food. That’s a total wait of about an hour for a pickup order. If the kitchen is busy, that’s understandable, but the wait time should be communicated honestly. Better time management and clear communication would really improve the experience.

A very warm and courteous server served us. Very attentive to taking the order and getting the customized dishes just right. The dishes were very delectable and reminded of preparations from back home. I’d definitely try them again.

I ordered some food, but it was not fresh at all. It tasted like old food that was just reheated. When I called the restaurant to explain the issue, they cut the call instead of trying to resolve the problem. Very unprofessional behavior and poor customer service.

I recently visited New Punjab Restaurant, and I was really impressed! The food tasted authentic and freshly made — especially the curries and naan, which were full of flavor. The staff was friendly and made sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, just like home. Definitely one of the best places for real Punjabi food. Highly recommend to anyone craving traditional taste with great service!

Terrible experience. We called a few days back asking if they serve hot jalebi made fresh on Sundays as thats what i heard. The server said yes and today when we visited we visited they said jalebi is premade and we cant heat it up anyhow either.
On top of that chana was super salty with chickpeas tasting out of a cane. They were not even cooked properly.
To finish we ordered tea. The tea also tasted premade, if not they need to learn how to make tea as it was not cooked to the level of Indian tea. On top of that by ordering masala tea we only got green cardamom tea.
Horrible experience and not coming back to them ever.

Food is sooo flavorful and delicious, nice interior, clean, and our server (Sukhveer) was AWESOME !!!!!!!!!! We will be back, next time we’re in Kelowna!!!!!

Tried the restaurant a few days ago. Found the food very mid. Ordered gol gappa, chaat papri and dahi kebab. Was expecting dahi kebab yo just be served with some chutney was it was a whole chaat which made the kebabs kinda soggy. Didnt like that dish at all, a pass. But, the gol gappa was really good, probably the best one we’ve tried here in kelowna. A definite try. And chaat papri was good too.
Really affordable if youre looking for a value for money snacks/appetisers! The mains are on the higher side tho.
