The Culinary Experience
The food is, quite simply, a revelation. Each dish arrived with the vibrant colors and aromatic complexity one expects from high level Punjabi cuisine. The balance of spices was impeccable bold enough to be memorable, yet refined enough to let the quality of the ingredients shine through. I left the table feeling immensely satisfied, a testament to the generous portions and the “soul” cooked into every bite.
The Verdict
New Punjab Restaurant & Sweets doesn’t just serve meals; it serves memories. Whether you are a connoisseur of Pakistani cuisine or a curious newcomer, the combination of a 10/10 culinary execution and top tier hospitality makes this a “must visit” destination.
I will certainly be returning.
Note: Keep an eye on their sweets counter on the way out it’s the perfect closing act to a stellar meal
We were warmly welcomed by the owner/manager. We ordered Chicken Biryani (I don’t remember the exact name from the menu, but it was the one the owner suggested), Haleem, Chicken Karahi, garlic naan, Aloo Paratha, Lassi, Mango Lassi, and Gajar Halwa. And chai!
The food was delicious. The owner/manager made us feel at home. He also shared his future plans for students, including upcoming buffet plans, and invited us to visit again in the coming weeks.
We will definitely visit again.
The star of the show is undoubtedly the chef, a 5-star culinary talent whose skills shine through in every bite. The chicken tikka is perfectly spiced and grilled to juicy perfection, while the goat curry boasts a rich, aromatic flavor that’s absolutely irresistible. From buttery naan to creamy dals, every dish is a testament to the chef’s mastery of traditional Punjabi cooking.
If you’re in the mood for authentic flavors and a truly memorable dining experience, this is the place to be. Delware county/ Philly is lucky to have this hidden gem!
We had tandoori baked naan, sizzling hot charga and kabab & best tasted Nihari. Definitely, coming back again.
