I passed by many times, and I regret that. We stopped in on a whim and got the Kung Pao Chicken; it is the best that we have experienced. Since then, we have been several times, trying the Tomato Beef (no more trips into Chinatown for that), Moo Shu Pork, General Tao’s Chicken, Roast Pork Egg Foo Young, and more and everything has been top-notch! Chef Kong wears traditional embroidered jackets, a different one each visit. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the ambience is welcoming, with many nice touches (lots of Pandas). We will be returning again and again to try more dishes.
New Panda is highly recommended ! ! !

Food here is really good! I discovered this place recently and I enjoyed their food. Even though it’s further away from me I prefer to walk down here than get from the Chinese place closer to me on Metropolitan. Try New Panda you will love it! I’ve had the chicken corn soup, hot and sour soup, chicken and broccoli and spicy dry pot with sichuan peppercorns! Sooooo delicious!!

My go to Chinese spot in Forest Hills. The orange chicken and general tsos tofu are excellent. Delivery is fast and you can order right from their website. No need to pay upcharge on the dashing services. Best for takeout but eating there is fine too if it’s you and maybe one other. The orange chicken tastes best at the restaurant.

We ordered New Panda for the first time tonight. The quality and taste of the food was excellent, and the delivery was quick. We ordered standard fare, but I’m excited to try their Sichuan dishes. This will be our new takeout spot

The photos should tell you what you need to know. I did not order a roach with my meal.

My husband showed me an image of Adrien Brody skateboarding, implying he’s a fool trying to be something he’s not. I said “Adrien Brody is an ideal immigrant success story” he said “where’s he from?” He’s from Woodhaven Queens, New York. He can’t keep getting away with this

This place was closed for a while and reopened with new management and menu – unfortunately, it’s awful now. They are not careful about cross-contamination. Shrimp in my pork fried rice and a strong fish odor (maybe fish sauce?) in a vegetarian dish as well. Can’t recommend eating here, especially if you have serious food allergies like I do. It’s a shame, the old place was very reliable.
