Was not impressed at all. The seafood blooming onion was not cooked completely, the shrimp Alfredo was so runny that my stepson had to drink and slurp his food. The sweet potato fries tasted like everything that had been fried in the past week. The tarter sauce and blooming onion sauce was as runny as water. The only positive thing about any of our order was the 3 strips of fish that comes on the catfish platter. Upon going to pick up our food that we called in,they slipped in an 8.00 tip. We won’t be back. If you want great seafood, wait until pontatrain poboy is open. Their food is the best and don’t add tips on call in orders ( they are so polite you give them something automatically)

Everything about this place is amazing!
From the eye catching building to the restroom that is decorated nicely with a wonderful smell! The staff are super sweet and actually waited on us to order(no pun intended lol), making sure I understood what I was buying. When you walk into the restaurant you see all of these plates that they have made just so the customers know what they’re ordering! Now for the whole reason you clicked on my review. The food was amazing to say the least!! The spinach artichoke dip was delightful. The chips were fresh and slightly sprinkled with a nice bayou seasoning. The Meal box (I believe that’s what it’s called) came with a pound of crawfish, corn and potatoes. I got mine with extra spice. The crawfish was cooked good with a great flavor. The main boil I got was made with essentially a crack sauce!! The flavors danced around in my mouth. The only words I can use to describe it as is “Jesus’s Last Super”! The snow crab was cooked perfectly! Literally melted in my mouth!! I’m not even exaggerating I’d literally sell my brother for another pound! We also had the Redfish with crawfish sauce (it has a specific name but I’m literally in a food coma as I am writing this) over pasta. The red fish was perfectly cooked where it melted in my mouth. It was definitely my favorite. I will definitely be returning in the near future. If only they had a restaurant in Texas! I am not exaggerating when I say this is a MUST STOP on the list while traveling through Louisiana!!

Got our food quickly I got the ooh wee chicken Poboy it’s fried chicken tossed in some sauce that reminds me of orange chicken and a wee bit of Cane’s sauce. It was really good would definitely recommend the catfish was also good.

I know this little place has been around forever always been known for great seafood. I got a roast bee po-boy and my husband got a cheeseburger which was supposed to be a cheeseburger po-boy. His was amazing and mine was just okay. Not enough roast beef to call this a roast beef po-boy.

Was in the mood for some fried seafood. Got the shrimp & catfish platter with a side of hushpuppies. Cornmeal breading was light & crisp, no greasiness at all. Catfish was fresh (zero muddy flavor, just tender and tasty). Shrimp was also nicely cooked. Pretty much what I expected from a side-of-the-road joint with a gravel parking lot: great food, no messing around.

I had a good time there and had dinner with family. They have a variety of seafood platters which gives more options to the paying customers.
I had a po boy there while my mother had a seafood platter with a variety of seafood on it as well as sweet potato fries.
The servers and managers were nice as well.

I’ve never left a review, but save your money on the crawfish. They were tiiiiny, SO mushy, no flavor!!, half were cracked or headless. I ordered the same amount I order everywhere and I was left so hungry because they were so small & half were inedible…

The server was excellent, , a young black man, sorry dont recall name–kind, well mannered, got whatever we needed, effective & efficient, knowledgeable of menu, great suggestions. The food was fresh & hot, very good –Blue crab cake sandwich, The Bacchus Boy sandwich was great…However the only negative was all the Flys all around outside tables, even though a great Gulf Breeze was constant and pleasant, the view was great looking at harbor…maybe install some fly strips to hang above tables..This is a great place , otherwise..Do stop in and give them a try, you wont be disappointed….
