This food is amazing!!! I haven’t had southern food like this since my last visit to New Orleans. Definitely authentic and worth the drive. He puts everything into his craft. You won’t be disappointed.

We loved this place! The owner was so friendly and has a passion about cooking. My mom and I split the sampler platter and got sides of fried mushrooms & pickles. They were all absolutely delicious and a really good amount of food. My granddaughter got bbq wings and those were also amazing. The beignets…they melt in your mouth. There wasn’t one thing that we felt neutral about – everything was excellent!

Hot damn! Probably the best decision I made today was stopping for last minute take our. The owner was delightful and the food delicious. Pork tenderloin sandwich & okra were a 10! Wings? 10! Po boy? 10! We’ll assuredly be back.

Traveling through for work and this place caught my eye. I ordered a shrimp Po-boy and was not disappointed. This thing was absolutely delicious!!!! The fries were amazing too. I could totally find myself sitting at home daydreaming about that po-boy and driving 5.5 hours just to enjoy another one.

This appears to be a one man show and he has it down to an art. The service was quick and then he goes to cook your order. We got the sampler platter and it was excellent. Gumbo, red beans and rice, chicken, catfish, and yummy corn bread. You definitely want to give him a try.

Was looking forward to the catfish after craving for awhile. Robert said oh yeah I get it fresh, and make my own breading and tarter sauce. It was a lot of “lip service!!” The catfish was soggy, NOT fresh, the breading was not his, bland, the fries were flat in taste and service awful! I didn’t know you could mess up catfish so bad. Beyond disappointed! Also soda is serve yourself from the cans kept in cooler. Toast was not buttered, no catchup offered and expensive for all this!!!! Worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant! Please do not waste your time or money!

Hidden Gem! Authentically amazing Cajun food. Do yourself a favor and enjoy some New Orleans cuisine. I had the catfish and red beans and rice, with homemade bread. This is made from scratch worth it! Oh yea, the owners are super friendly.
