I ordered the seafood dip and a daiquiri, and both were great. The seafood dip was flavorful and fresh, and the daiquiri was mixed perfectly. Lakeisha handled everything quickly while still taking the time to be kind and personable with customers.
It’s rare to see someone balance professionalism, speed, and genuine friendliness the way she does. She really sets the standard for great service and represents the business very well. I’ll definitely be back.
However, the service was the worst part of the experience. We were seated quickly and our drink orders were taken, but then we waited about 15 minutes before the waitress returned. After placing our food order, we waited another 30 minutes with no updates. The hookah came out first, and about 30 minutes after that, we finally received our food and drinks.
We ordered:
Hookah
3 bottles of water (only option available)
Seafood rolls — really good and flavorful
Amaretto Pineapple/Piña Colada daiquiri
Georgia Peach/Piña Colada daiquiri
Cup of gumbo — I don’t eat red meat or pork, and it was full of sausage. The waitress couldn’t confirm whether it was beef or turkey, so I didn’t eat it.
Seafood pasta — my friend said it was tasty
Fried gator — hot, fresh, and seasoned well
Unfortunately, we spent more time waiting than actually enjoying our meal and ended up getting the food to go. I’d give them another try, but definitely not on a Saturday night.
There was a huge daiquiri selection and they offered samples also.
The food was exceptional.
I have a food allergy and they made sure I would be safe.
I will go back when I’m in Atlanta again!!
Bang Bang Shrimp: Amazing, not to hot you can taste the creaminess. It definitely had a crunch. Only thing I wish it could be more especially if you’re sharing with an appetizer.
Bayou Classic: Nasty. I didn’t taste no Cajun on the sauce it was too hot. The hotness was over powering the entire dish. The dirty rice had sausage. The sausage was burnt. And we could had a crunch to the catfish. It was bake which made the fish blended. The shrimp could’ve been cook a little longer. I think if they can make the Bayou classic better with these suggestions it will be a great dish.
Also the atmosphere is amazing but the tv was way too loud. I barely could hear myself talking with my guest due to how loud the tv was.
of 3 hours waiting on our food. The waitress would come back every 30 minutes with the excuse of we have been busy since we opened up. Which was a lie because I live in the area and I passed this restaurant numerous of times today and that wasn’t the case. The waitress kept apologizing when we would rather her just told the truth. The only thing that kept us was the DJ. I can’t even say it was the daiquiris. Then finally she brought out my daughter’s food but had the wrong side… long story short the ABSOLUTE WORST!! My daughter asked for a supervisor and the waitress said oh he is in the back cooking. Ok well ma’am where is our food !! There was only 3 waitress brought the entire establishment. I should have went with my first mind and just went to Madhouse, they would have never allowed such!! I don’t and wouldn’t recommend this establishment at all
