It seems like your typical inner-city Philly Chinese joint. Family run; parents and children. But I really enjoyed the food here. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Wings with Pork Fried Rice. The rice was just the way I like it. The wings were just right. The sauce had really good flavor, and they didn’t drown the wings in it. It cost $12, which is standard. Will definitely be back.

Today was my first time ordering here. Ive been looking for a Chinese restaurant to order from and I FOUND IT ! Sweet and sour shrimp was amazing perfect ratio of dough to shrimp. Egg roll was super crispy The female who answered the phone was so nice and was very patient with me even though I didn’t know their menu. And the delivery driver was also nice. Be careful ordering from the guy, he doesn’t care if you say you don’t want vegetables or you’re allergic to pork or shrimp he will do whatever on the order and over charge you. A platter is normally 12 with some change and they give you a egg roll. Nah this day he charged me 18 dollars for a platter and 5 for 2 sodas like damn even if you a regular that guy don’t care. The lady is the real MVP she the best 15 out of 10 but the guy just wants to take advantage of people..

I’m sorry but I have to rate this. And the only reason why I’m rating this is for other people to know about this store. Be on point with how much they charge you for one. They try to charge me extra money. You have to explain to them that you know or not they will get over on you. Then they told me the food will be done in 10 to 15 minutes I get there at that time and have to wait an extra 10 minutes. I guess they don’t start making the food until you pay them. Then she give me half of my change back in all pennies. Then I asked for soy sauce and she gave me one pack. Bad service here sorry to say. Never will I come back here

The food is really fresh. The general tso chicken is the absolute best. I live and maryland, and each time I drive to philky to see my parent’s I stop here. I love this place, they are making me fat.. lol

The food is ok but the customer service is horrible. A simple pick up paying by credit card turned into a whole issue and I walked out without the food at the end. Even though I showed them where the credit card was charged, I was asked to dispute the charge but pay cash for the food, which was absolutely not happening. All they care is about their own financial gain and there’s no negotiating at all. If you want to just give someone your money and get substandard food and terrible customer service come to New Ocean!

Oh my goodness, their food is delicious.
I ordered while I was at work and their delivery guy appeared out of thin air some, 20 mins later.. My food was still very hot when it arrived and everything.. So I gave the guy a nice little tip.. Great customer service!
