My first time here. Bought lunch for my family here, today.
The lasagna and burritos, very good, the carrot cake, so so. The young staff, a bit undertrained and made service mistakes. Most items there, a wee on the spendy side but especially, the pies.
Clean, nice place, large selection of various baked goods and an (unexpected) variety of other food items.
To be more specific about the carrot cake, the cake was kind of bland compared to other places that have better, more moist cake with def more nuts and carrot pieces, etc . . and the cheesecake frosting was more sour than sweet. Not terrible but not great, in spite of looking really yummy.
I was intrigued by the pies . . but they looked good but too small to be paying between $22 – $25 dollars each for them.
Overall, a very nice place with a good selection . . . but a slight mixed bag on quality and prices. Will probably give them another try.

Highly recommend this location! The food, service and atmosphere are perfect for any get together. We often use New Morning Bakery for offsite meetings and, in addition to the amenities above, it is a great representation of the welcoming Dallas community. If you’re looking for catering options, New Morning Bakery will take care of you! The cheese/fruit tray is a favorite for our organization.

I love coming to NMB! As somebody that meets with clients regularly, this is the perfect spot! We can enjoy a cup of coffee, space to have laptops and meeting materials out. We can order food if we choose, and there’s Wifi if needed. I’m consistently running into other members of the community that are doing the same. Definitely a place to come where everybody knows your name!!

Veggie pizza squares, absolutely amazing, fresh roasted veggies with red sauce and a great cheese pull 10 of of 10. The dessert tocany almond cake with raspberry jam covered in chocolate with a layer of sugar almond toffee on top, that was kinda good the topping was hard to bit through, good flavors. They have a lot other dessert to choose from and lots of entree items to choose from. Very affordable specialty coffees.
