Tasted great! Very flavourful and authentic. The price is a bit high but for the amount of food you get it’s great. We had orange chicken, fried fish, black pepper beef rice plate, and fried rice. All very good. There are a lot options there. Will definitely go back again.

Travelling in the USA and when in San Francisco, we felt like having some Chinese food. So went to New Ming’s which happened to be within walking distance from our hotel. As it was approaching their closing time of 7pm, we could only order take-out.
We were very pleasantly surprised and pleased with the 2 dishes we ordered. They were substantial and very satisfying.
Pity we won’t have the opportunity to try their food again, now that we are back home in Australia.

Awesome little hidden gem. I found them online searching for places that have Singapore style noodles, which is a long time favorite I’ve searched out for years. It did not disappoint, and the chow fun was good as well. Places was tidy with clean decor, people were pleasant.

New Ming’s is my family’s favorite Chinese restaurant in SF of all time!

I was in town for a week and I went there three times.

潮色豆腐 ie Tofu with Shrimp + Chicken is our favorite dish, but honestly every dish here is very good.

This is an oasis in the middle of SOMA.

The waitress is very kind and attentive. I’d highly recommend this to everyone.

Very quiet restaurant when we arrived but the food was loud! The orange chicken was so crispy and packed with that orange flavor we all want, one of my favorites I’ve ever had. Dumpling were good as well as the onion pancakes. Served HOT and fresh.

Delicious food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. There’s a $4 charge for tea perhaps due to inflation.
Tried the braised basil tofu with a side of steamed rice as well as their Singapore style rice noodles. Both dishes were very tasty and we will be coming back for more soon. Highly recommend coming here.
They also have a lunch special from 10:30am-2pm.

I got the spice Mongolian beef with a side of rice and it was one of the best I’ve had in San Francisco. The onions are perfectly charred and the vegetables are not soggy. They are really crisp and the spice is just hot enough for you’re sweating a little bit, but you don’t hate yourself.

First time trying this place out. Nice little place. They have an eccentric menu. We went with walnut shrimp and house special fried rice. Tasted like traditional seasonings. Very delicious. Service was good and staff was friendly. Will be back

Update Jan 2025:
Good to see it much busier than when I first tried it out. Food are still good and enjoy a good quick lunch before back to conference.
Don’t limit yourself to their lunch box offers.

They also offer a nice selection of normal make to order items and they are better than the lunch box.
We tried the house fried rice and SciChaun fried tofu with Eggplant. Both were real good, great Wok fragrant with infused favors from ingredients. The Eggplant was just right texture and not overcooked.

Great fast and easy lunch just a short walk away from Moscone center.
Nice little mom and pop restaurant hidden in a building coroner not far from the convention center. An easy quick reach for tasty filling lunch for conferences goer, visitor to Yerba Buena area. Next to the Museum of the African Diaspora.
Hot and spicy beef shank noodles is pretty good, also the bitter melons fry beef in black bean source ( right predation makes the bitter melons not bitter but retain it’s fragrance).

Great service, great food and great location. This is right in the middle of downtown San Francisco and is very convenient.
When I went here, they were not busy as it was slightly past lunch rush. There are lots of really good options to choose from so it was a little bit difficult to decide what to order which is a good thing.
I ended up getting the house fried rice with multiple different kinds of meat. The rice was cooked perfectly and very flavorful, the beef, the chicken and the shrimp are also very flavorful and overall it was a great meal at a great price.
