I had the lunch special, Mongolian Chicken, it was very tasty, and I cleaned my plate. The waitress was beautiful, friendly and polite. Polite is not easy to find these days, it was very refreshing. The decor is typical of a traditional American Chinese restaurant. I sat near the waterfall so I could hear it. I would come again.

Terrible place. Got the terayki chicken fried rice. The chicken was burned and had no teriyaki flavor. The “fried rice” seemed like it was instant rice from a box- had no seasoning or flavor, I had to drown it in soy sauce to remotely even eat it. The waitress never came by after food came out (we were the only ones there), just handed us the check. Never asked how it was as there’s mounds of food still left on the plates. Don’t waste your time or money going here.

I had never been to New Mandarin before today and I have to say that I am very satisfied! I ordered sweet and sour chicken, two egg rolls, orange chicken, and vegetable fried rice for take out. I didn’t have to wait long at all to get my food which was nice! Unfortunately when I got home I realized that I was missing my orange chicken so I called the establishment to which they were very apologetic and included a free dessert as well!! The food itself was delicious, perfectly crisp and flavorful. I loved the orange chicken and the egg rolls were AMAZING. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t try the egg rolls!!!!! I definitely recommend this hidden gem to anyone in Laramie craving delicious Chinese food. I will certainly be back!!

I seem to find the best places in the most unlikely locations. This place was REALLY great! A quiet, low-key atmosphere, attentive and cordial staff and the food… ! Everything was delicious. All of the vegetables were crisp and fresh! Seasonings were perfect without being ‘too much’ as I so often find. And the portions… Well… I’ll be having leftovers for several days!

I was disappointed that I was not able to order a cup of soup with my dinner even though large bowls of soup were offered.

We tried 6 different dishes and everything was wonderful and a generous amount of food. The Mongolian beef is excellent. The The Szechuan cucumbers are delicious. We stop here every time we are in Laramie. We wish Lubbock texas had Chinese food this delicious.

Didn’t like how little chicken I received in size and amount in my Kung pow chicken. It’s not like Southern California’s generous amounts you get for just $8 I paid good money for something that I believe was over hyped. This makes me not want to go here at all anymore. My friend ordered Mongolian beef and was dissatisfied . It was too sweet and was not spicy at all. Just for these two items it cost us $31.62 which I think is a rip-off

While traveling and stayed near this restaurant, I ordered delivery. Wow, very impressed with the quick delivery. But, most of all, thus restaurant has the best pork egg roll I ever ate. It was large, crispy and delicious. It came with ” homemade” hot mustard-horseradish (?) sauce. Yum, and made my nose burn in a good way. Had the Kung Pao Beef and this was very good too. Wish I lived closer to this place.
