I came here for lunch and their lunch menu was really fair. They had numerous options for just $10. This included wonton soup, and an egg roll along with the meal. I ordered the lemon chicken, whereas my mother ordered the beef tendon egg noodle soup. The lemon chicken was enjoyable and worth its price. It wasn’t overly coated with batter. The beef tendon noodle soup had lots of meat as well and was quite delicious. We decided to order takeout back which included another lemon chicken combo and a beef soy sauce stir fried noodle. For four items, the bill came out to a little over $50. I would recommend this restaurant for those who want authentic Chinese food on a budget.

We came from Michigan for good Chinese here at New Kirin. We picked it for affordability & authenticity (I’m Asian) & it really delivered. Very kind attentive staff, spacious comfortable dining, lots of other Asians but many ethnicities too. Easy access for disabled persons or wheelchair users.

Im all for supporting small businesses however, this is the second time I found black hair in my food from here. Once on the Lemon Chicken, and now in my Wonton soup. Im disgusted, staff should be wearing hairnets. No one should ever be getting hair in their food. Quality of the food was just okay as well, no flavor and it’s expensive. I won’t be coming back here again and WILL be advising everyone that they’ll get hair in their food.

By far my favorite Chinese food in the city . Best hot and sour soup your gonna get , best lemon chicken I’ve ever had same with the chicken su gie. (Always get the sauce on the side ). The batter they use is crispy and tastes super fresh. I’ve always got the Peking duck meal and it’s top notch. They are also well known for their hunan sauce. I’m yet to have a bad meal from here and the customer service is super friendly and amazing . Give them a shot and you won’t be disappointed 🙂

From the moment I walked into the establishment I had a bad feeling about their kitchen and the food they served, it was dirty and unhygienic, the wall paper was peeling of everywhere, but we still decided to try out they’re dishes. The food was by far the worst chinese food I’ve ever had, the spicy shrimp had a funny taste to it and way to salty. The general tao’s chicken was by far the worst I’ve ever had, it was slimy not crispy and it lacked every flavor for general tao that makes it what it is, I threw the whole dish in the garbage, they’re rice dish young chow was below average, it lacked all the seasoning and flavors and barely had any shrimp or pork on it. Overall the food was disgusting and I would not recommend. The worst experience ever when it comes to chinese food.

The food was served quickly. Egg rolls were nice and crisp. Good size chicken in the sweet and sour chicken balls. Overall very good experience. This is also my go to for home delivery. Highly recommend. I’ve been enjoying this place for over 20 years.
