New Jawad — Indian Restaurant in Paris
New Jawad Rapp, Paris, France – Reviews, Ratings, Tips and Why …
Reviews
Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent!
We ordered:
Chicken tikka masala: Great taste, felt that the curry was slightly less in qty, probably because we liked the taste a lot!
Butter Fish: The salmon in butter sauce was a different experience, tasted good!
Pakora: thinly sliced potato, green chutney provided was slightly below expectations, but the pakora tasted good
Bara kebab: this was a surprise in how it looked to me even though the menu described it as it came. Very tasty!
Veg biriyani: tasted delicious! Made me think wish I had ordered the chicken biriyani since that would probably have tasted amazing as well, haha!
Butter naan
Kingfisher beer
Would highly recommend checking it out especially if you’re in the eiffel tower area. Just about a 10 min walk to/from the tower! Kulfi tasted great as well!
Absolutely loved it.
And at last the dessert which we received made our day.
Must try restaurant
The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, taking the time to explain the menu and make great recommendations. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both a casual meal and a special evening.
If you’re craving real Indian cuisine in Paris, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
Chicken not cooked well and just took out added some sauces and flavour.
Chicken biryani was not a biryani just fried with uncooked chicken added it.
Mutton biryani was OK.
I don’t recommend this Restaurent to people from india at all.
Pros: Manager was very friendly, even cracked a few jokes, food was delicious, food came out quick. My cocktail, porn star, was really good.
Cons: The server who took our order and brought out our food did not radiate the same overly positive attitude as the manager. He wasn’t rude but it was a bit of a letdown to go from the greeting by the manager to the server who was a lot more matter of fact.
The portions are small for the price and you need to order your rice separately. The food was still delicious and well worth the price, just be aware.
Total bill for 2 people with 2 drinks each, 2 appetizers, and 2 entrees was ~$127.
If we visit Paris again, we would definitely return.
Amazing food with quite impressive hospitality…
Must visit.
