GET THE BUTTER CHICKEN!!!!! More on that below, and then even more about it further down below. This place is an excellent spot that I’ve ordered pickup from on multiple occasions. Really friendly service, and excellent food. My go to favorites are the butter chicken (x2 and tomorrow you will be so thankful for leftovers), okra, and palak paneer. If you get a meal for one or two of the dishes you get naan, lentils, raita, and rice. Incredible deal. The garlic naan is particularly flavorful so treat yourself.

This is my absolute favorite Indian restaurant of all time. I lived in San Jose for about a year and frequented this restaurant with my roommate. The tikka masala, butter chicken, lamb pasanda, and lamb biryani are incredible and usually what I ordered. Best garlic naan I have had as well. Combined with extremely fair pricing (especially for the bay), I would recommend this place to anyone. Ordering as takeout is still good, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the in-person quality. Thank you to Raj and the rest of the team there for making my time in SJ just a little bit more flavorful

It was very disappointing to try Indian food at this place. The place was dirty and smelly. Staffs’ aprons haven’t been washed for couple years I guess. A tiny kitchen fit 4 men without air circulation or good sanity. The food tasted terrible with poor quality. I will never ever go there AT ALL.

Small, family run restaurant. They serve good Indian food with a smile. Portions are good and the full meal comes with rice and naan. I got the Malai Kofta. Very flavorful. Thanks guys and I will be back!

My absolute go to for authentic, spicy-flavorful local Indian cuisine. Dine in or dine out. Everything you order is a party in your mouth. Heavy on the spices and absolutely consistent. Coupled with excellent service, fast food prep, reasonably priced this gem is worth every calorie point folks!

Someone recommended us to this place as we are new to San Jose. Service was great, amicable. Food was what was to be expected, no ‘wow’ factor albeit very good. Ordered a variety of items to morsel out – just a heads up, most items have spice. The vegetable samosa was good, cooked great with a crunchy shell but soft inside. The ground lamb kabob was a bit dry but overall okay. Rice and saag paneer were on point. Naan bread was a little dry with little taste of anything but flour. During covid, presentation of food is hard to distinguish but came in boxes and sealed containers to keep food warm.

They only have daal as a side order- that was unremarkable. The other dishes had hints of flavours that needed a little bit more time developing. Tolerable if you haven’t had Indian food in a very long time, but they could be so much better. They do have tandoori rotis if you ask.

Very nice friendly staff. I stopped by to get my daily dose of Chai and it was one of the best Chais I had this whole week in CA.
