Kitschy and cheery, this is a nice spot for good, no-frills Chinese food. The New House Chicken is unique and worth a try, if you’re a fan of spicy(er) chicken. I look forward to returning and trying something else. They have good portion sizes for the price, I think.

My favorite Chinese restaurant. They have the best everything! Lo Mein, Honey Chicken, Crab Rangoon. They have amazing portions for the price too! Highly recommend. Even my picky eaters love this place!

Ok I have to give a 5 star for the food however today I asked for additional container only to double up because the containers leak. I got charged 3 dollars for a container. Was she just not listening or is the containers 3 extra dollars because the juice leaks out. So great food poor service and I won’t go back as I said food is awesome and you get alot and I can’t eat all of it at once. Therefore the reason to double up the container but I won’t pay 3 dollars for something extra in that sense. Hope this helps.. explain throughly to them so you dont try to figure out where the extra came from..

This cute little place is in the old kfc on west chestnut. The food is great, very affordable. Apparently they deliver, we have not used this service. The owners are always there, serving and cooking. It is a family place. We enjoy the food and like the cleanliness of it as well. They have menu prices starting at 6.99

I went there late Saturday night and ordered a large order of Hunan chicken, which was fine. However, I requested an extra egg roll instead of of just one egg roll and two won tons. I was told I would be charged an extra dollar. I said I was okay with that. However, I only received one egg roll and two won tons, even though I paid extra. By the time I made the discovery, they had already closed, so I waited until the next opportunity to call about the issue. I was told I should have called Saturday night, so they couldn’t do anything about it. I explained I couldn’t call Saturday night because they had already closed. They said I should have called Monday then. I explained I didn’t think they were open Monday (as many Chinese restaurants close on Sunday and Monday), otherwise I would have called sooner. At that point, the guy said they would be willing to replace the one egg roll. I asked if they could at least give me two. Otherwise, it wasn’t worth cost of gas to make a special trip for one egg roll. Most restaurants will at least give you something extra when the mistake is theirs. Many will replace the entire meal. I wasn’t even asking that for that. The person I spoke with was not very agreeable and treated me as if I were being dishonest. This was the same guy who took the original order, and there weren’t any other customers at that time, because it was so close to closing time, so it shouldn’t have been that hard to remember. And the special instructions were clearly not given to the person preparing my order at that time. I let him know that this would be the last order I placed from this business. He said that is fine. Apparently, they are not concerned with losing customers over a mistake they made. I do not recommend them. There is a far better restaurant down the road at The Wok on West Bypass. That restaurant has excellent food and good customer service.

They are very friendly. we came here on a search for the cities best fried rice honestly it’s missing the flavor complexity I love , but it’s not a bad fried rice. Everything else we ate was amazing they might have just forgot to season the rice it happens we I’ll come back in about a month for the duck and give them another try because the fried rice was the only thing we ordered that didn’t impress us but so far it’s the best in Springfield and trust me we’ve looked very hard

My absolute favorite Chinese place in Springfield, they have all the classics plus some awesome extras like peanut butter chicken, walnut chicken, new house chicken. Great portion sizes and lower prices than most other places with again larger portions.
