This was my first time ordering from here. I saw it on Door dash and was excited to try it. Overall, very satisfied. The Hot honey wings tasted great and were cooked perfectly. The Mac & Cheese and Mashed Potatoes w/ gravy were very tasty and had that home cooked taste.Only downside was paying an extra $3 for Corn Bread and received a very hard/burnt, inedible piece. I was really looking forward to that cornbread. I’ll try them another time and hope for the best.

I was told that new horizon had some amazing catfish and greens. When I arrived, I ordered my food and asked for water which I never received. I sat there for over 20 minutes, just to get some bland food. The greens had so much pepper in them that I took one bite and couldn’t even eat it. The catfish was so bland that the hot sauce was the only thing I could taste, and I don’t put much hot sauce on my catfish. It was a waste of money on some overpriced food that nor my roommate or I could finish our meal. The ramen that I had to eat afterwards had more flavor than any of the food that I ate from there. I will not be returning to this establishment and I definitely won’t recommend it to anyone.

I ran across this place on DoorDash and after reading the Google reviews and finding out this is a black owned business I decided to support. I have found the soul food spot in Denver!!! This is the place that takes you back to grandmas cooking. The smell makes your mouth water I ordered on DoorDash and my food came hot and fresh I had the rotel and chips…chicken and catfish green beans and spaghetti Oh My this food is good I live in Colorado Springs but I will be back to Denver every weekend to eat here
