We were there for take out on New Years Eve. Sadly to say, we were very disappointed. I had the 4 season dish, which was okay but not spectacular. We also ordered the General Tso chicken. This was horrible. It was not spicy at all and the glaze over it tasted like it came out of a jar. The Wonton soup was disappointing too. Lastly we had the pork fried rice. It tasted like it was cooked in a pan that was burnt. We threw out just about all we ordered. What a waste of $60
I won’t be back.

Finally visited after 4 years in the area. In a shopping strip and doesn’t stand out. Will definitely be back. Large restaurant with 4 different food stations and a sushi bar. Food was fresh and delicious a wide variety. Staff was friendly and attentive. Very clean and acoustics were good.

We got there 8 pm and much of the food looked good but was stale. They had 6 steam tables, so a lot of choices, including a dessert bar. The cashier said it had been quite busy earlier.

The staff is nice and always checking in on you and doing refills of drinks. There is one staff he makes you smile and enjoy your self. There buffet is always fresh and kelp ready for you to dine from. The value is worth the food and it’s all you can eat. There is no take home from the buffet.

Increasingly we have seen the food bar food drying out, and the quality decrease. It used to be so good a few years ago.
We still go but usually order off the menu now.

Service was great but food was dried some cooked too hard, and not fresh at 2:40pm with 18 people in restaurant eating.

This was a bit of a disappointment for me. We came on a Tuesday night and not much seemed fresh. The peel and eat shrimp were decent but not great. For the price I expected better. The staff is fantastic and the place is clean.

Went to each lunch around 3 today(Thursday Dec 4) there was very little to no food on the bar but we thought they would bring more out…WRONG!!! What food was on the bar was old and cold. We could only handle one serving each. The fried chicken was pinkish red and now we are both ill to our stomachs. Save your stomach… eat anywhere else.

I broke down and went for Chicken Chow Mein at UnHappy Garden. Gross, They used lettuce in it like on a salad bar big chunks of chicken not cut up and tough. Had no business, had no change, had to get in his billfold to give me change.
The veggies weren’t even al dente , they weren’t cooked. So much fluid it leaked out of containers into my seats in car. Weird. So I had a hot salad for dinner.
I was raised with good Chinese food since a child and ate with chop sticks before a fork. I love my Chicken Chow Mein but not this for almost 15.00.

Look at the huge slices of whet leather chicken! And I swear that iceberg lettuce, no bok choy, few onions, carrots uncooked. I’m insulted. My first name Lee came from Mr. Lee that opened Paradise Chinese Restaurant in Asheville. One of the first Chinese restaurants in Asheville. He was my namesake. Many years eating his food. China King in Canton is exemplary compared to this place.
