My favourite restaurant in Georgetown. Their portions are huge – a single meat and rice combo is enough for two people for at least one meal. All the dishes I’ve tried have been delicious. I especially want to highlight the butter chicken, they use pre seasoned (tandoori?) chicken so it’s super flavourful

I tried this place sometime at the end of 2025 and I must say, I was so disappointed. (Take out)
I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant but I had ordered some chicken and rice and it was so bland it physically made me sad.
How can food be so tasteless? Chicken alone has a taste. I thought I had Covid or something but then had a sip of pop to confirm my taste buds still were functioning.
The people there I am sure are lovely and are doing their best.
I really am honestly baffled to this day that it lacked so much and seasoning, even salt didn’t really help. I’ve never felt so sad eating a meal in all my life. The best part of the meal was the beverage.
I don’t know how this happened, but godspeed. <3

The food at the establishment was satisfactory, however, there were some areas that could be improved. The breaded shrimp lacked flavor and was excessively oily. The chicken pakoras were small and predominantly tasted like dough rather than chicken. The beef chow mein was the most enjoyable dish, although it had a slightly burnt flavor. It was my first visit to the restaurant, and I noticed that it is quite small, which may have contributed to the inconsistency in the quality of the food, especially considering that they were not particularly busy during my visit.

The atmosphere was alright, service was great. I ordered a lunch special for 11.99
The soup was good but the garlic veggies and rice was missing something.
I didn’t have enough flavor.
But for the price it wasn’t that disappointing.

Food is really good. As a vegetarian they have a few options I got their lunch specials; chilly paneer with steam rice side of sour and hot soup for 11.99 plus tax
Service was really good, very nice people.

If you are driving through Georgetown and need a quick bite of some fantastic food, go here!!!
Their hot and sour soup is the best I’ve had! The flavors were intense and it was spicy just the way I like it.
I had for lunch the Chilly Beef. It is a good sized lunch especially for the price and you will be full. Comes with rice and a small springroll (not made in house). They could also use a little less sauce on the plate.
The flavors were just outstanding in every bite and you could tell the food is made fresh and in house.
Better for takeout but a really quick lunch at one of there 4 tables works too. Looks to be family run and the person who took and served my order was pleasant, polite and friendly.

Very disappointed with our experience. The quality of the food was extremely poor. The rice was overcooked and mushy, and the noodles completely lacked flavour. The sweet and sour Manchurian shrimp were badly overcooked and tough. The momos were especially unpleasant — they tasted old, like they had been sitting out for a while. My husband ordered a chicken dish and was equally dissatisfied with both the taste and quality.
On top of that, we were told to come back in 15 minutes, only to end up waiting another 25 minutes just sitting there before receiving our food. The wait was frustrating and poorly communicated.
Overall, the meal was not satisfying at all, and the experience left a bad impression. I will not be returning.

Unfortunately, this was the worst Hakka food I’ve ever had. Everything was overcooked, sloppy, and completely lacking flavour. The dishes felt rushed and poorly prepared, and nothing tasted fresh or balanced. For the price, this was a huge disappointment and a waste of money. I was genuinely looking forward to good Hakka cuisine, but this missed the mark in every way. I won’t be returning. Not sure how they maintain their current rating….
