Absolutely blown away by our dim sum lunch at New Gold Mountain in Aksarben! This place is the real deal—authentic, bustling, and full of a wonderfully diverse crowd that speaks to the quality of the food. We tried a wide variety and were delighted with every dish. The custard buns were beyond decadent, the beef skewers incredibly tender, and the pork belly—with sugar for dipping—was a surprising but delicious touch. The shrimp dumplings were generously stuffed and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. My personal favorite was the lotus leaf sticky rice—soft, fragrant, and absolutely unmatched anywhere else. The sesame balls were gigantic (almost too big to finish), and everything came out hot, fast, and beautifully prepared. Our server kept our water full, and the service was excellent. We spent about $60 for lunch, choosing several of the more premium dishes, but truly dined like royalty. You could absolutely eat well here for less, but we have no regrets. Can’t wait to return!

Delicious dim sum! We ordered BBQ Pork Buns, steamed rice noodle rolls with beef, steamed shrimp dumplings, and orange chicken. All were fantastic. If we didn’t live out of town, we’d make this a regular spot!

My hubby and I went here tonight for a quiet dinner for two. The staff was super friendly, we were checked on frequently and they answered all our questions before we ordered. I ordered the beef stir fried rice noodles and my hubby ordered the sautéed string beans. Both were great but I LOVED the green beans. They were still crisp and full of flavor. I plan to order those again next time. I also ordered the custard buns. They were the perfect custard to dough ratio and just the right amount of sweet to hit the spot. We will definitely be back!

Nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Ordered crab rangoon (those were OK), spicy cucumber salad (very good!), BBQ pork buns, ma-po tofu and garlic vegetable with fried tofu. Would recommend giving it a try and would certainly return to try other dishes.

We’re so pleased with this restaurant. The food is good, the servings are generous and the prices are moderate. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the place was bustling.
We’ve enjoyed the egg drop soup, Mongolian beef, mooshoo pork, fried rice and shrimp with eggs. All was delicious.
They don’t have a liquor license right now, but should in next few weeks.

You can smell the food from a block down. When we walked in, we were greeted immediately and everyone was smiling. We got to sit down without a wait and our server had drinks to us in less than 5 minutes. We ordered a couple appetizer, like dumplings, egg roll and crab rangoon. All were delicious. The Kung pao chicken was delicious with just enough kick and the sweet and sour chicken was fresh and crunchy. The hot and sour soup didn’t last long. It was delicious. This will be a monthly stop for sure. Check it out, you won’t regret it.

I wanted to love this place so much since it is so close to home and easy to grab takeout and study. The fried rice and hot and sour soup were great! However the broccoli beef had a very fishy smell when I opened it and a fishy aftertaste as well which was super off putting. Though it’s convenient, I will drive out of my way for food that tastes like it should.

Sundays is the right kind of busy. There are people there, but it is easy to find a table, even for eight people.
Some of the dishes are American style favorites, but the dim sum is always the best. The dumplings are great. The turnip and taro are very good. Get the chicken and rice in Lotus leaves. So good.

Very good dim sum considering it’s Omaha. I’m from Malaysia and while this is a not incredibly authentic – it was still delicious and enjoyable. Service was not perfect but it got the job done! Very decently priced. We had dim sum for 3 people, and we filled ourselves up for about $48.
