Hole-in-the-wall “mom & pop” Chinese restaurant. Excellent atmosphere & customer service, unless they’re packed out. It’s a 3 person show & only one server. Reasonably priced & you get a TON of food for what you pay. Excellent authentic taste & their Hibachi is fabulous

Absolutely amazing! Everything came out piping hot and fresh. You can tell they actually care about the quality of what they’re serving, not just cranking out takeout. The portions are generous, the flavors are spot-on, and the prices are more than fair. Hands down some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. New Garden just moved to the top of my go-to list.

I recently started ordering New Garden and it’s became my favorite place to get takeout around. The fried rice is delicious and affordable and they have the best sushi around the Newport/Southgate area that I have had so far. The employees are really nice and the restaurant interior is great, they have these nice heavy wood tables to eat at that have really cool artwork on them, and some nice lighting and a great wooden art piece on the wall. I love this place it’s the best.

Overall, below-average experience. The atmosphere was tacky with boxes stacked inside and paper menus. The service was poor. We had to ask for water refills, chopsticks, and soy-saucers. The waitress was busy, literally running between tables. She was too busy to take our photo. The food was good for typical American Chinese. But the Miso soup was flavorless and the Hot&Sour was had a strong vinegar flavor. The eggrolls had no pork and old lettuce. The sushi and entrees were good, but a little overpriced.
Overall, a little disappointing, but would easily be able to rise to 4-stars with some small changes. Best recommended for quick Chinese to-go

What an excellent little restaurant in Ft. Thomas. We stopped in after a little league game and had some delicious food. They have freshly made sushi, (BEST IN KY) we had the California rolls. We also had spicy beef, fried rice, steamed rice, lo mein, orange chicken and general tso’s chicken. Everything was perfectly prepared and very filling. These were the special size. Definitely worth every penny and the service awesome! Most definitely recommend, especially if you like sushi!!
