First time trying New Garden this evening. We ordered 2 egg rolls, crab ragoons and Kung Po Chicken. Egg rolls were all cabbage. Ragoons had what appeared to be pickle relish in them. Kung Po was a 3. We won’t be back.

The people were friendly, the place was empty. But it was probably 3 or so when we stopped in on the way back to Thomasville. When we walked in I noticed an odor but we checked the menu out & ordered. The food was just ok at best, I had plenty of leftovers but didn’t even bother bringing it back. Sorry, but I won’t be back.

Did an Uber eats order here. The general tso chicken is less than mid. It said “spicy” but it’s mushy and lacks any flavor really. The vegetable lo mein tastes overly like fish sauce. For some reason they gave me 3 massive 8 oz sides of sweet and sour…it’s literally tasteless.

Been eating Mongolian beef forever and it is a dish with beef n onions ONLY! I do not like the fact that so many fillers were used like a ton of mushroom n zucchini n carrots n green beans. Sorry but not everyone wants certain veggies. Please keep this dish as it should be. Meat etc was flavorful.

We really enjoy the food, much better than the options we have in Cairo, Ga. I often pickup food on my way home from Tally. They have options that many other Chinese restaurants don’t have like Moo Shu Chicken & Beef (most only offer pork). We love the Philly Egg rolls too!!

We have picked dinner up a couple of times in the last couple of months. They do work hard to prepare fresh food but our chicken dishes- moo good gai pan and chicken and broccoli–have been undercooked. This chicken is more raw than cooked and I have to finish cooking it in the microwave or saute pan . Someone will get ill unless this is addressed.

This place is consistently good! Tasty food, always friendly, and fast. When I’ve gotten it delivered, the food was just as fresh as picking it up. They do a really good job packing the food to stay fresh. The ribs are FANTASTIC. The General Tso is some of the best I’ve had in Tallahassee. Egg foo young is crispy. Hot and sour Soup is hearty. I’ve been impressed with new garden and recommend letting them show you how good a little family restaurant can be.

Went to pick up lunch for the first time at New Garden. Service was fast. Price reasonable. Food tasted good. Ask for the condiments if you want some, like packets of soy sauce, hot mustard (did not get any.) No complaints but none of the fast food places are anything like the home cooked Asian meals.
