Absolutely disgusting. The soup wasnt even a soup, they put so much rice in it that it consumes it and its a pasty rice with chicken. The crab sticks are fried to death and everything was cold. The broccoli and chicken came stuffed in a plastic container, never seen that before. DO NOT ORDER HERE.

Serving food (Chicken) that looks to be molded. This is very disappointing. I frequent this place often. But I know I will not be back. Be careful when order and double check your food before eating.

I went to order food for a party on short notice. They worked with the budget and gave 3 trays packed ! You know when foil is wrapped and it’s flat. The trays looked like you had a turkey! Nice people also.

I usually don’t eat Chinese food because the oil upsets my stomach but my sister ordered from here and had me try it. The wings were so good! Tasted more fresh and wasn’t heavy on oil

Great food, reasonable prices. Our go to place when we’re in Rahway. Everything is fresh and cooked to order, and you can tell that by the texture and the taste of the food. Everyone loves the Chicken and Broccoli, General Tso’s Chicken, and the Kung Po. The Hot and Sour Soup is consistently a delicious meld of fresh ingredients and the best that I have had anywhere. Highly recommended!

New Fon Garden is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon while missing my train to the city. Old school decors so I’m thinking a dive restaurant. BROS! Not the case here, the food is so damn fresh it brought me back to the original China town I knew back in the 80’s. Check it out.

One visit, one meal, one experience is enough. Review and experience from 4/22. Prices are competitive among other take out places. Parking in this area is available however you must pay at a meter between 7a and 7p. The size of this place is unknown to me as they have the dining area closed, which is surprising as most places have opened their dining areas to customers. Instead there is a small vestibule with a large plexiglass window. There is 1 chair in this area and a table with menus. If you decide to wait in this area, you are subject to being in close confined proximity with any other customers as opposed to being able to distance if they opened up. There is a light in the vestibule that is hanging by a wire and the wrong size for the opening in the cieling. I’d imagine this area is cleaned infrequently.
As for the food, I got boneless pork ribs with roast pork fried rice (lunch #27) which was 8.50 (9.09 with tax). The bones ribs (pork belly) was fair, slightly overcooked, but not overly fatty like some places. The sauce however had a distinct viniger undertone making me associate it with ketchup, which may be an ingredient. The rice was hardly fried. It seems more like steamed yellow rice that was tossed in oil. There was notes of msg and included mung bean sprouts and a miniscule amount of pork. I don’t think they even used a wok on the rice. I’ve seen many versions of fried rice, however this seemed like it’s a bare bones no frills yellow rice dish. Edible for sure, but missed the mark for lack of wok hay, no onions, peas, etc.
There are other Chinese eateries in the area I’d try before returning here. I did not find any unusual objects in my food like other diners have claimed.

Gave restaurant several times but…

I ordered a standard chicken dish, but what I received was completely wrong. Instead, I got a bland, gelatinous sauce that was absolutely terrible and nothing resembling what I ordered.

When I called to address the issue, I was met with indifference and told that I had, in fact, received the correct dish. Despite my attempts to explain otherwise, they refused to acknowledge the mistake.

This was the final straw. I’ve given this location multiple chances, but after this experience, they’ve lost my business.

I had to change my review. Ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken. Some pieces are rotten. Made me really sick. Had to throw away a whole order. What a waste.
