If you’re looking for authentic New England style seafood, look no further. This is your place for all things New England style.
First things first, this place doesn’t look like much, but that usually indicates that it’s a good spot. The parking can be a little difficult to find because the place is so busy. There are warning signs on the walls, menu as well as t-shirts to indicate that your meal’s going to take a while to be properly prepared, so don’t be surprised if it takes a while. I ordered the seafood trio which was some perfectly cooked full belly clams, sea scallops and some smelts. I haven’t had smelts in 50 years. They did a great job of cooking them. Everything was seasoned well, nothing overpowering! They didn’t overcook the clams either, which is nice! My wife ordered the mashed potatoes which seemed to be out of a box. They were quickly replaced by French fries which were excellent.
They had some live music and it was fun to watch the sunset behind him as he played. I do wish that they would either put up some fencing or some kind of retainer walls to block out the surrounding desolate areas.
Finished our meals with the double chocolate cake. Serving was a little small, but the flavor was good. All in all, a great place to get a New England style meal.

Really good food. Fish was fresh, hot, most, flakey, and delicious. Shrimp was huge and battered well. Add soon as you walk in there is a sign saying “If your in Hurry then you should leave”. Everything is made to order so it takes a little while to prepare. Worth the wait. Id def so back again. Food was worth the price and good portions. Ordered the fish and shrimp combo. Husband ordered the triple combo with calamari. Everything was great and very filling.

being from the Southcoast myself, I’m always a little skeptical checking out “New England” style locations. Let me tell you, this place is GREAT. Service was wonderful & the wait for qfgoid was not long whatsoever. The only thing we didnt really think was super good was the marinated pork sandwich – the meat was slightly burned & crispy. All other items were EXACTLY like something from New Bedford! Will absolutely be back again!

I love this restaurant. Get there by 4PM or wait in line. Short week opening. Check the web. Great chowder, clams with belly’s, incredible coleslaw. Plenty of choices. If you’re a New Englander, you’ll be at home. Hidden gem.

Came here to try it out, as it is a new restaurant. Normally im not one for seafood, but this restaurant was amazin. Ordered the fried calamari, and the garlic butter and peppers on top made it so good. Ive never had calamari like that, and wont eat it any other way. I also ordered fish and chips, and wow.. the filet was large, spread the length of the plate, and was at least an inch thick. It was so tender I had a hard time picking it up with my fork. The owners did stop by the table to chat, and they were both super friendly. Very cozy place with dynamite food. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth every penny.

Just a great little restaurant hidden behind Bay Shore Village. The clam chowder was really good. My server Amber was very delightful and very helpful. Small family business that is trying to gain more customers to be open more days. Everything is cooked to order so it’s very delicious. The seafood sampler looked amazing also.
Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve gone here a few times and absolutely LOVE their food. Not to mention very nice dine in and very very nice poeple! If your looking for the right place for coleslaw this is it I’ve gotten a side of coleslaw every time I ordered something. Today I tried the veggie cod and I can honestly say I’ve never had anything like it. So tasty and healthy. This is one of my favorite spots to eat in Port Charlotte now!

I am a100% Azorean-American from Fall River Ma. So you can take it from me that this restaurant serves authentic Portuguese cuisine that takes me right back home. Also other unique Fall River stuff like New England clam chowder and seafood as well as chow mein just like the old China Royal. Steamer clams, baked lobster. Very reasonable . Highly recommended

I absolutely love this place! Their fried scallops are hands down better than anywhere in NE and I’m from CT. Fries are amazing too. Cooked to perfection.
