The pepperoni was shriveled and burnt. The cheese was blistered and dark in several areas. The top looked dried out and oily in the same way food looks when it has been reheated instead of cooked fresh. The crust was thin and rigid and tough with no rise and no softness at all. It looked and felt like cracker bread. When we lifted a slice the cheese layer separated from the dough which usually means old dough or a slice that was run back through the oven. Even the bottom was unevenly cooked with pale spots mixed with overly browned spots.
This is not a one time issue. The last few visits have all shown a steady decline in quality and tonight made that impossible to ignore. We kept giving them another chance but the food is not even close to what it used to be.
What made this even worse is that after only a couple slices I became sick. When you eat only a small amount and your stomach reacts immediately that is a clear sign to stay away. This meal was completely unacceptable for the price we paid.
The interior has not changed in all these years either. It still looks the same as it did back in two thousand one when I first started coming here. Nothing has been updated or improved. It gives the feeling that the place has not moved forward at all.
It only takes one final terrible experience to know you are done. This was that moment. We will not be returning.
These were made to order, so it took 30 minutes to arrive. These were piping hot and with slightly crisped crusts. Imagine Pizza Hut’s pan pizza, but local and with much more passion and care. Otherwise, tasted like the decent local pizza place that’s your default if you live around here.
Decor looks like 90s pizza hut minus the kale (yeah, kale used to be decoration) in a positive, family-restaurant-oriented sense.
My son was recognized by a staff member and my son tried to remember her name. He looked content on seeing her again.
He devoured his pizza. Friendly service.
Update: Sunday evening , November 2021; We dined in. Our pizza was brought to our table with real plates and metal utensils! Nice touch! Inside dining area looks great ! Everyone liked there pizza . I’m not a big fan of pizza , but, it wasn’t greasy and I was content. My finicky daughter asked for more!
Update: June 2025; Still good !
WiFi available. Bathroom was in good condition.
I recommend a visit.
I have to say though, I’ve asked a bunch of times for extra pepperoni and they straight up don’t put extra on. The picture below was a pizza I ordered with extra pep. I was charged for extra and it was on the receipt. That is absolutely not extra. I will eat here again obviously but come on man
