We have been loyal customers here for many years but tonight was the last time we will ever order from this place. The quality has been declining for a long time and this pizza confirmed it. What we received tonight for over twenty dollars was not pizza. It was a dried out and overcooked mess that never should have been served.

The pepperoni was shriveled and burnt. The cheese was blistered and dark in several areas. The top looked dried out and oily in the same way food looks when it has been reheated instead of cooked fresh. The crust was thin and rigid and tough with no rise and no softness at all. It looked and felt like cracker bread. When we lifted a slice the cheese layer separated from the dough which usually means old dough or a slice that was run back through the oven. Even the bottom was unevenly cooked with pale spots mixed with overly browned spots.

This is not a one time issue. The last few visits have all shown a steady decline in quality and tonight made that impossible to ignore. We kept giving them another chance but the food is not even close to what it used to be.

What made this even worse is that after only a couple slices I became sick. When you eat only a small amount and your stomach reacts immediately that is a clear sign to stay away. This meal was completely unacceptable for the price we paid.

The interior has not changed in all these years either. It still looks the same as it did back in two thousand one when I first started coming here. Nothing has been updated or improved. It gives the feeling that the place has not moved forward at all.

It only takes one final terrible experience to know you are done. This was that moment. We will not be returning.

Let me just say I had an incredible experience here! For the past 10 years, we’ve probably driven by this place without noticing it, but today, while we were in the area for lunch, it finally caught our attention. Upon arriving, we instantly felt the warm and welcoming atmosphere. They offer everything from pizza, subs, wraps, to pasta dishes. I tried the lasagna, and it truly impressed me—it did not disappoint! I highly recommend it!

For an early dinner a friend and I decided on pizza here. Since it was 4 PM, the establishment was almost empty. I made my order at the counter and took a seat. The order (for a party of 2) for was for 2 small pizzas (forgot the exact price, was about $16 ea.) – the loaded and the chicken artichoke.

These were made to order, so it took 30 minutes to arrive. These were piping hot and with slightly crisped crusts. Imagine Pizza Hut’s pan pizza, but local and with much more passion and care. Otherwise, tasted like the decent local pizza place that’s your default if you live around here.

Decor looks like 90s pizza hut minus the kale (yeah, kale used to be decoration) in a positive, family-restaurant-oriented sense.

Best pizza around , can’t find this amazing taste anywhere else either! Their customer service excelled far beyond my expectations every time I’ve been there or gotten delivery. It’s always very clean inside and they have a tv there and free wifi as well (just ask for password). They also waive the delivery fee for people who live like across the street or somewhere really nearby them. The owner is awesome too! He’s always been so kind to me and my family and we appreciate that so much as it’s hard to find these days! Thank you for your excellent service ❤️

My son wanted pizza for lunch. I didn’t want to buy a big pizza. I called ahead and ordered a small personal pizza for him.
My son was recognized by a staff member and my son tried to remember her name. He looked content on seeing her again.
He devoured his pizza. Friendly service.
Update: Sunday evening , November 2021; We dined in. Our pizza was brought to our table with real plates and metal utensils! Nice touch! Inside dining area looks great ! Everyone liked there pizza . I’m not a big fan of pizza , but, it wasn’t greasy and I was content. My finicky daughter asked for more!
Update: June 2025; Still good !
WiFi available. Bathroom was in good condition.
I recommend a visit.

The best!! So clean and the people are the nicest people in town. Bonus, the French fries are the best on the seacoast. Really cut fries no coating. Thanks for being so good at what you do!

I’ve been eating here since like 2004 and the pizza is great. Good crust and well cooked. Very consistent.

I have to say though, I’ve asked a bunch of times for extra pepperoni and they straight up don’t put extra on. The picture below was a pizza I ordered with extra pep. I was charged for extra and it was on the receipt. That is absolutely not extra. I will eat here again obviously but come on man

I’ve dined from New England Pizza for a long time and always been pleased with their food. But during my most recent interaction with them, it was their customer service that went above and beyond. While planning a mercy meal for friends and family, on short notice nonetheless, they ensured we would be taken care of. The manager, Harry, was kind and compassionate. He ensured my very large order would be executed to perfection and even threw in a couple extra items as a sign of goodwill. I absolutely recommend them to anyone who enjoys good food and even better service.
