Despite some pretty dicey reviews, the gf & i had been craving Chinese for a few weeks now and since we were just passing thru town and staying for the night across the street thought “what the hell!?”… we’ll try it out. ♂️
The place appeared closed from the outside, with an all but empty parking lot and blacked out windows…looked a Lil suss, imo.
My first impression was that nobody in Guymon OK goes out for Chinese on a Thursday night, as the place was completely empty, dimly lit and absolutely no musical ambience whatsoever.
There was however 1 lady working who greeted us politely and allowed us to choose our own seats.
We ordered a pot of tea, 2 egg rolls, the kungpao shrimp for her, and combination dinner for me.
The egg rolls were delicious and fresh, and the chicken chow mein was “aaight,” not the best, but not the worst I’ve ever had. Her shrimp plate was “good” as well; not the best but definitely not the worst. She took ½ of it back to the room for later, and happily finished it all.
All in All it was a decent meal, with reasonable portions and priced about the same as we’d pay back in Cali…”IF” I was ever in this area again, I’d probably eat here again.

Food was good but a bit oily. Atmosphere was quiet and a bit darker. Service was good. No wait time. Price was reasonable.

Most of the chicken meat was dry with hardly any sauce. Most places you can get a spoon and dip more sauce on your plate, not this place. The atmosphere was way too quiet, no background music. The woman’s rest room was out of order and there was no ice cream in the self serve machine. They advertised ice cream on Sundays and it was Sunday!

As a truck driver, I get to partake in a plethora of chinese restaurants . I’m grading it a 4 star just because of the location and because of the kindness of the host. Seems to me this place is for mostly take-out. Very low lit and quiet if you’re going to dine in, but I enjoy dining in more than takeout. The food was great, and it was reasonably clean. My negatives are, of course, the price compared to the portions, but other than that, I would come back.

Ok so this is my take out order. There are zero side sauces. No duck sauce no soy sauce no nothing. I ordered cream cheese wontons….no sauce….the 1st picture shown is $60 worth of food. This was a pick up…my bad I should have triple checked it all…..no… just saying common sense. Just don’t! Have a fried burrito at Allsup’s….for real just don’t go here. Anywhere in Guymon, OK for Asian don’t because Asian food is terrible here. My second picture is cream cheese wontons. There is no cheese at all….only a folded and empty wrapper. I’m sorry it’s an absolute no from me tonight. NOPE!!

Absolutely disgusting. there was hair in my food. 0/10 would not recommend I am never eating here again. Also will not offer refund for food after speaking to staff. Staff would not let me speak to manager.
She also ADMITTED that they do not wear hairnets when cooking.
