This is my new Chinese spot, my old place had new owners take over and I thought I’d try something new- so happy I did! I haven’t tried anything I haven’t liked yet, the prices are reasonable, and when I order pickup it’s always ready before I arrive. I haven’t eaten inside yet but plan to at some point. So happy I tried it!

If you want to blow $8 for thick gummy dumplings and a tiny morsel of meat this is your place. Ordered take out for the whole family. Crunchy fried rice, sweet beef with broccoli, dragon & Phoenix just bad quality bad food. Chicken pad Thai decent but almost no chicken & the added tofu… to save on food costs? Was not requested. Ridiculously over priced for mediocre to bad food. Service was good, served in time frame, shrimp & fried rice good.

I walked in and was greeted. Not many customers, so there was plenty of seating. Sat down ordered my meal and drink at the same time. I sat by the window, and the atmosphere was still a little dark. It was around 1:30 pm. on a Monday. The food was good. I didn’t like the sauce too much, but I’m picky. Other than the prices, it’s a good place to eat. They also have a bar. But I have not tried their drinks.

Giving this a fair 3 stars. I had sushi and wonton soup, so it doesn’t feel right to give it less because I didn’t have any Chinese food. The sushi was sub par and I wouldn’t recommend getting it from here. Rice was slightly undercooked and bland. I had a roll with raw tuna, it had a wet smell like it had been sitting out for a while under cellophane or something. I took some of it off because I couldn’t eat it. Avoid the sushi, other dishes might be better.

Their lunch specials are no brainer for the price, quantity and variety. I tried their chicken with cashew nut combo with chicken roll. The fried rice and chicken was okay but I wish they made it little more spicy. The soup was alright but the chicken roll was exceptionally good. I will say that the taste is not pure authentic like other Chinese places around the area.

The place is new and has a nice decor to it, not too big. The server knew English and was pleasant, though due to the shortage of servers there was a bit more time in between for quick service. Had the California roll sushi which I totally enjoyed. The Seafood Combination dish was ok but the sauce was clear goo and was not good. Since I only ate half, I asked it to go and also the sauce that was in the Happy dinner that my husband had. She almost charged me for it but decided to just let me know that I was not charged; which I thought it was odd, since I only asked for a little bit. Overall, I would go back again but not right away. $25 pp + tip & drinks.

We were hungry for Chinese and researched several places around the South Hills. We to a few that were closed and almost gave up when we “found” this Gem! Stop looking around, and go here already! Hands down the best ambience, food, portions, cleanliness and hot tea around! We will be back!

We have dined here twice and both times were great. The servers were very friendly and the food was delicious. The portions are huge and we ate the leftovers both times. Hope the area will continue support New Dragon!!
