This restaurant was a tasty and wonderful surprise! Some of the best Indian food I have had in the States. We came here for lunch simply because it was half way between us and a friend. There were no other customers there when we entered, but we were kindly greeted. I am a vegetarian, so we all just ordered a bunch of vegetarian dishes so we could eat family style, and the meat eaters were also super impressed. We ordered the saag paneer, chana masala, and aloo gobhi which were excellent, though we also got the Bharat which was next level. We couldn’t get enough of the three different types of naan that we got. Service was great, and the food left a lasting impression. We will definitely be back to New Delhi Restaurant if India.

New Delhi is literally the best Indian restaurant you will ever go to. Its even better than the food that I tried in India. All the curries are amazing! Family friendly environment and very personable. The Mango Lassi’s are to die for! I am picky about the Indian food I eat but I honestly would not go anywhere else. I live over an hour away and make the drive to eat here. Dont miss out!

Over 30 years I have enjoyed Indian cuisine from many Indian restaurants in the Chicagoland area, Elk Grove Village/Schaumburg my hometowns. I was raised on this food from very kind neighbors even though I am not Indian. I live nearby and New Delhi has been a staple in the community for at least 25 years. This is a family owned business who ride on authenticity, honesty, and quality. From Samosas to Vindaloos and Kadais, Biryanis, Aloos, you are paying for heart and soul of this culture. Be sure to check out their lunch buffets for a great spread. Quick story; one time they forgot a rice in my order, and then provided extra naan and more rice. Generous portions with rich flavors reflecting their hospitality and humble atmosphere. Please eat here as this is a place to support for longevity.

Randomly stumbled to this restaurant with my family at a time when they don’t expect much customers (lunch on a Tuesday). The owners were very courteous and hospitable and promised us delightful food. They kept their promise and more. We ordered two types of biryani and mughlai chicken with their delhi special naan. Everything was flavorful and super delicious. The naan was very soft and tasty. I particularly liked their biryanis as they had balanced spice flavors used in northern and eastern parts of India. Very much recommended and thanks to the owners for the delightful Indian food.

I had an incredible experience at New “Delhi Restaurant of India” The garlic naan was perfectly soft and fluffy. The goat curry was rich, tender, and full of flavor—easily one of the best I’ve had! The butter chicken was creamy, slightly sweet, and packed with spices that blended beautifully. The portion sizes were great,and the service was friendly! A must-visit for Indian food lovers!

we tried chicken tikka masala and paneer tikka masala along with a side of chilli paneer. Requested the main courses extra spicy but they were instead sweet in flavor. Chilli panner was not how chilli paneer is made. Its more or paneer sauted in onion masala that has no flavor of garlic, ginger, soy sauce or red chilli sauce. The paneer itself is supposed be a little burnt in chilli chicken. Overall, I would not order again.
