Ordered Tikka Masala for takeaway. Delivery was on time, and the packaging was clean and stylish, but the dish didn’t meet expectations. The sauce was bright red, overly sweet, and lightly spiced, lacking the depth and creaminess of an authentic Tikka Masala. A traditional Tikka Masala should have a warm orange color from a balanced mix of tomatoes, turmeric, and spices, with a rich, aromatic, and slightly spicy sauce. Service was excellent, but the flavor, spice level, and color of the dish need improvement to match the authentic recipe.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant is impeccably clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

The food was outstanding—fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The onion bhajees were perfectly crispy, packed with delicious spices, and not at all greasy. The naans were soft, fluffy, and cooked to perfection, pairing wonderfully with the rich and aromatic curries.

On top of the excellent food, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for authentic and high-quality Indian cuisine, New Delhi Indian Restaurant is a must-visit!

We enjoyed food here. Portions are not big but tasty. We were warm welcomed but had a feeling not enough attention later, just feeling under pressure to order quickly. Just Mr Manu gave us more attention. Apart of that food was really nice, jalfrezi spicy like it should be.

Had a meal there this week and the food was excellent and so tasty. I also want to thank the staff, particularly the younger member of staff, who helped me find my wedding ring as I left the restaurant. My husband died 4 years ago so it’s extra special to me. The staff were wonderful.

We came from London and decided to stop here to eat and we didn’t regret it. The buffet is excellent with a lot of variety of food. Chips and nan bread are made fresh on request. The staff are friendly and they are always smiling and the chef was always attentive to refill the food whenever it ran out. Plus they have desserts included as well. We definitely recommend it.

Went here cause of the reviews and 4.3 star rating which you’d think the food would be decent.

Services was fine but a little bit awkward – server was coming way too close for comfort at times which made it awkward.

We were a group of 4 – 1 had the buffet and others ordered from ala carte. I can’t even describe how the food was…. Ate it cause I don’t like wasting food and complaining never really gets you anywhere a lot of the time.

If you’re looking for decent Indian food…. New Delhi is not the place to go
